Problem getting a seat for 1 prior to park opening

I know I am trying to get this kind of ADR late in the game since my trip is the first week of June but does anyone have suggestions based on actual experience for getting a MK pre-park opening breakfast ADR for the first week in June for just 1 person (a new ADR, not an additional person)?

Somehow I get the impression that spots for "1" will never pop up in this situation...

# 1 - Do openings ever come up for 1 online making it worthwhile to keep checking daily, hourly etc.? Or should I change it to 2 and change later to 1.

# 2 - How about calling Dining?

# 3 - How about at the hotel concierge etc.?

Any actual experience would be most helpful!

They do offer ADRs for 1 person for restaurants before rope drop. However, just like for any party size, these are sought after ADRs. I would definitely continue to try to see if something opens up. People cancel ADRs throughout the day. There is no difference between calling dining or going online and checking. I have an ADR in May for an 8:15 ADR for 1 person at Crystal Palace that I made yesterday. There are openings made available for parties of 1; however, they can get booked up. I would continue checking. You can also subscribe to the June cancellation thread. I hope you get the ADR you want!

I think I would also search for reservations for 2 and take that, if you happen across one. It's not like they're going to seat you at a table with only 1 seat. They're essentially the same reservation. You should be able to call and have it modified to 1 instead of 2.

No problem! I also agree with ncmickeyluvr. You can look for ADRs for 2 people as well and then modify it to one person. They would be seating you at the same table anyways!

It's difficult to get a table for 1 anywhere. Book for 2 if you must, then call and remove the second person.

Keep checking! When I used to book ADRs I ended up canceling some of them, mostly when we were already there, some day of. So miracles can happen.
