Problem booking dining reservations online

What am I doing wrong? Everytime I try to book a dining reservation online, the online system doesn't recognize my DVC confirmation number and will not allow me to book 10 days past my check in at the 180 day window. :confused3
 
I've been having the same issues...seems a lot of people on disboards are. I've had to call for my reservations that fall in the 180+10 window.
 
I was having the same issue when I made my ADRs in Feb. I had to call to do all of them. Very frustrating!
 
We had the same problem at the end of Feb. We had to call.
 

This has been ongoing since Oct. 26th 2011! They either can't or won't fix it. It's been nearly 6 months and us folks holding DVC reservations can't use the +10 feature for online booking which puts us an hour behind folks who hold regular CRO reservations. Plus we have to call the regular dining line at 7:00AM or wait for MS to open at 9:00 and call the 1-800 number. It's crazy that it's still going on like this. My ADR 180 is fast approaching and looks like I'll be calling AGAIN. I had to do this for my May ADRs too. It would be nice if they just would post that there's an issue so that we all don't keep wondering if it's something we're doing wrong.:confused3
 
A co-worker just booked her ADRs on line and had no problems.

I tried to set up my ME for December and could not do it. I kept filling out the form and it kept coming back for something else. I could not figure out what I was doing wrong. I will just have to call :confused:

Is your co-worker a DVC member with a DVC reservation?? Seems we are the only ones who have these issues. Folks with regular reservations have been able to get through (not all of them, but most of them). I just filled out the ME reservation online for my DD and her family and the first time it kept bouncing me back and asking for some info I had already given. I logged out and logged back in and did it again and it went that time. I then got 2 email confirmation reservations for them and no indication on how to cancel one out, so I figured she would either get 2 packages or none. We don't use DME, so I was pretty clueless on the process, but DD is arriving a week after us and no one want to pick them up, so we're letting them take the bus....

Yes, my co-worker is a dvc member - just joined a few months ago. I should have mentioned that. My son will be making is ADR's also on the 2nd. Hope he has no problems.

Thanks, that would be great if they finally got it fixed! Yea, the ME stuff was a little confusing. The first time I hit the "back" button because I forgot something, but then it wouldn't let me go forward. It kept telling me my information was incorrect. I just logged out and got back in and didn't hit the back button. I actually got a confirmation for both times though. I didn't even know I was suppose to do it 42 days prior. It was only 33 days prior, so hopefully the DD and family will get their packets, but they've done this before, so they pretty much know the ropes if they don't...they would just have to lug their luggage to the bus if they don't get their tags in time. Less than 3 weeks away -- and we're there for 3 WEEKS! OK 24 days to be exact!
 
Just tried ME form again - so frustrating. I thought I figured out what I might have done wrong the first three times I tried but nope. I give up. Will definitely call when I have a few minutes.

If I run into problems with ADR's - will call also :sad2:
 
I must have gotten lucky with the ME online form I filled it out on Monday and received our info packet and tags on Saturday ...I did have to,call and request another tag since DH is taking his golf clubs
 
Had the same problem yesterday at 180 days. I could book ADRs for my first day, but not any after that. What's especially frustrating is that my DVC reservation shows up on the Disney website, along with the dining reservations I am able to make, but the dining system won't recognize the resort reservation number to allow the +10 booking. So I had to wait an hour, then call to get everything else. Fortunately we didn't want anything that's extremely hard to get, but it's still irritating.
 
I had this issue with my DVC reservation AND a hotel reservation I booked through the regular Disney website. When I ask the cast members over the phone why I can't book my 180+10 online, they seem to have no idea what I'm talking about. They're "not aware of any issues".
