I'm DVC too & had the same issue Friday. I was able to call in that morning & get just about everything I wanted, but it was still frustrating. Since I'm west coast I got up at 3:00 in the morning to book online. By the time I was done on the phone, it was after 4:30. I went in to work like a zombie that day!
Several months ago there was a thread or two on the DVC boards about this same thing happening. I'm not sure if it's the same problem that only affects DVC, so they never fixed it...or if it's a new issue. I hope it's something new because that would mean that they should be fixing it before too long.
