Last Friday, January 16th, was my day to start booking my 180+10 ADRs. Unfortunately, I was not able to book them online despite trying two browsers, three laptops, two different MDX accounts, and the app on my phone. It lets me search and I can see the available times, but when I click on a time it brings me back to the dining home page and says there is trouble searching for availability. I called at 7 and was able to get most of the times I wanted.
I called tech support on Saturday because I was still having this problem. The person I spoke with signed in under my account and had the same thing happen. She needed to contact systems. She called me back after she spoke with them and said they were working to resolve the problem and that I should check my account on Monday or Tuesday because it should be fixed.
Well, today is Wednesday and it is not fixed, so I called again. This time the person that I spoke with said that there is a general problem with the system recognizing onsite resort reservations and allowing people to book 180+10 online. I was told Disney is working on this problem.
I asked if this was a problem with recognizing resort reservations or with the ADR system. The person I spoke with wasn't really sure. My concern is that when it comes time to schedule my fast passes at 60 days out, I am going to be in the same boat. The answer was that they have no knowledge of this affecting fast pass booking ability. I am hoping this is true.
I am just wondering if anyone else if currently having this same problem with online ADRs. Also if you have had this problem in the past, were you then able to go on and successfully book fast passes at 60 days out?
Thank you!
