What is concierge and/or club level? Are they the same thing?:confused3
Where can I read about it?
I have been WDW many times, and over-plan everything, and I hadn't ever come across the term until I started reading here.

Not stupid if you don't know the answer. Stupid might be - what time does the 3PM parade start?

Concierge (also known as club level) is a special level of service. You pay more to stay on this level and access is normally limited by your room key. They often provide various snacks and beverages throughout the day, sometimes offer special planning service and may provide access to dining and other special events.

AKV is the only DVC resort that offers concierge level because the rooms on the sixth floor were converted to DVC villas. The concierge lounge is on the sixth floor so there would be no way to keep those guests out of the lounge. There are five two bedroom lockoffs on the sixth floor - three savanna view and two pool view. Some are handicapped accessible.

Usually concierge level also offers turn down service (they come in during the evening and replace your used towels, leave a mint or chocolate on your pillow, turn the lights down low and turn on some relaxing music) at no extra charge. DVC resorts don't normally offer turn down service, just AKV Concierge level does that for DVC resorts. Plus you also get daily full housekeeping for AKV Concierge.

For non-DVC resorts, the deluxe resorts usually have a concierge level somewhere in the hotel.
