probably been asked before but...Visa Electron

Ok, ive read the search threads and im srry if ive missed something but can anyone give me a definitive answer

1. Can i put a visa electron card down for key to the world charging priveliges?

2. Do they accept them in disney restaurants and shops?

3. What about Universal studios and out of disney shops and hotels?

You can only use an electron card at a cash point if memory serves me right, we had one a few years ago and they wouldn't accept it anywhere.

I'm not an expert either but I'm sure they now accept them in all shops and restaurants as it takes the money from your account straight away. I think this is why you can't use it to charge items to your room as the payment is only reserved and they have no guarantee the money is there later. Best ring the bank to be sure.

I have a Visa Electron card and i have used mine in restaurants ,Walmart and i always buy my one day tickets for seaworld at the gate and pay for them using my card.
I seem to remember using it to purchase items in one of the stores on main street but it may have been when we were in Disneyland paris so please dont quote me on it.

Thankyou for all your replies, i suppose im just a touch confused as i paid for my disney package through the website with my card so i assumed that they would take it at the hotel, is it right you can pay a cash deposit up front instead? I think that may be best as at least i know that i cant spend more than that!!
