Um... do you usually stencil on some paper and cut out the letters to make a title? Do you do it on the computer first and print it out then cut out the letters? Do you just buy premade letter stickers? I feel kinda dumb asking this, but I wasn't sure...

The answer to that question (and so many scrapbooking questions) is that it all depends. If you were to page through my books you'd find everything from hand lettered straight onto the cardstock titles - some free hand and some with stencils - to computer generated, premade toppers, and individual letters. Lots of sticker letter titles, and since I received my Sizzix for Mother's Day some of those.

The basic thing to remember is that you want to preserve the memory - so keep it safe, keep it meaningful for you and the people in your life, and then don't stress the details. And that is a lot easier to say than do - believe me! :confused3

I used to use little pre-made letters that needed to have adhesive put on them and were a pain. I also used letter stickers. But now I use my Sizzix!!!

I use stickers, Sizzix, computer fonts and hand-lettered fonts.

Like everyone I use a variety: sticker letters, die cut letters, computer printing, computer fonts cut out of card stock, etc. You may find one thing you like better and use it a lot, or you might like more variety.

Please don't say your question is dumb: I bet a lot of people just starting out are finding this thread helpful! ;)

I just started scrapbooking, and I am actually having a lot of fun coming up with different ways to do my lettering. So far, I have done some free hand, and done some cut out. I want to try more with stamping. The ideas are as endless as your imagination. The reason that I enjoy scrapbooking, so much, and I just started; is that there is no right or wrong way. It's your way. It's your scrapbook. Have fun. I certainly am. I can't wait for my vacation, so then I can scrapbook my Disney photos.

Well, I have tried many different things and decided I mostly like letter stickers. I still need to switch it up, though, so I have some variety in my books. FYI - There are no dumb sb questions.

ok its not relating to the post but is a wierd question atleast i think lol how do u bound everything? i have been using elmers glue and its fine but i didnt know if there was somethign else that makes the paper less bumpy and is affordable...
