Probably a Dumb question... Booking Window

Hi everyone. My husband and I are new to DVC and just bought points at BLT. I was wondering how the booking window works. I know I have 11 months since it is my home resort but 11 months from what? The first day I want to book? The last day I want to book? Or does it work more like If I want to book anytime in December I can call February 1?

If you wanted an arrival date of December 1st, you could call January 1st. If you wanted an arrival date of December 15th, you could call January 15th.

You can book up to 7 nights in that call. If your trip is longer than that, you'll need to call and extend the trip, either daily or say you Book December 1 to Dec 7th, call on January 6th to extend. No need to call daily IF you are booking EXACTLY at the 11 month mark.

It's actually 11 month's from your check-indate. If you want December 1-7 you would book January 1. It's not your check-out date but your check-in date.
