Probable dum question

Okay, I have a question that is probably stupid, but...

Does anyone have the Xyron 900? Or something similar? When you put adhesive on a sheet, does it have some sort of paper backing that you peel off to expose the adhesive, or is it just sticky?

There is a backing that you peel off.

Well, I just got a Craft Robo (TODAY - I am having SO much fun), and I have been reading these tutorials about using the xyroned paper to so that you can just adhere your stuff to your layouts. That sounds ever so cool to me.
