Where are the restaurants that have prix fixe menus? I see one at Chefs de France and one at Captain's Grill. Any others? Does Le Cellier still have one at lunch?

Maggie

Le Cellier at lunch
Captain's Grill
Chefs de France
Kona Cafe
Nine Dragons
Bistro de Paris had one, but things may have changed there since they started accepting the dining plan
San Angel has a fixed price menu with only one choice per course, not multiple choices

I have not included restaurants that have only a fixed price menu.

Thanks for the info on LeCellier. It doesn't seem to be listed on the newest menu on Allears.

Maggie

The dining plan does not come with appetizer. Can we still use it for prix fixe menu that comes with app?

Looks like on Allears menu it's listed as:
Le Cellier Experience - Choose one from each category: Appetizers: Mixed Field Green Salad, Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage. Entrees: Salmon "BLT"l, Grilled Steak Salad, Porcini Mushroom Ravioli, Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken, Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich on Toasted Ciabatta. Desserts: Maple Creme Brulee, Canadian Chocolate Moose, Seasonal Sorbet. No substitutions. - $29.99

It also shows an update as of 1/12

Do we know if this is current??? Are they still offering the burger at lunch time??(heard it was the best and my daughter was planning on that )

Thanks

Where do you see that? I only see a menu for lunch listed as March 2011?

Maybe I am looking in the wrong place?

Maggie

Oooohhhh, my bad... I think I was looking at the menu on Disboards- sorry for the confusion

If it helps when we went to Le Chefs in May 2012 our waiter told us that those dining at Chefs on a regular dining plan HAD to order from the Prix Fixe options. Those with the deluxe dining plan could order whatever they liked.

I have no idea how accurate that was as we had the deluxe and I wasn't interested in finding out at the time and the regular menu looked more appealing to us.

I am still curious to find out how they will handle it at Bistro de Paris. We'll be on the deluxe plan again and I'm hoping not to be limited to the prix fixe menu.

Never heard of anyone on the dining plan being limited to the prix fixe menu only, at Chefs de France or anywhere else.

Regular DDP users have the choice of getting the prix fixe so they can get an appetizer, or choosing any entree and any dessert and getting no appetizer.

I am assuming that this server was incorrect at Chefs de France. Was that May 2011?

May 2011 yes.

Bolded: perhaps something was lost in translation, our server was excellent but had a very heavy accent and his English was very limited and my wifes French is very rusty. Top notch service otherwise though, it was one of our favorite meals at WDW.

It was our first time doing any of the dining plans, so you may be correct now that I think about, that may have been what he was trying to explain? I didn't focus on it since it didn't apply to us and I wasn't quite sure why he brought it up. Again, the language barrier must have lost something, lol.
