Hi guys
anyone recently forked out for a taxi tranfer from Charles de Gaulle to the Newport Bay?
Family of 3 and just wondering how much more this might be than the VEA option with Disney?

Cheers

For a family of 3 your cheapest, quickest (door to door) and most convenient option is to pre~book a shared shuttle with rstransports. check the prices on their website ~ we use them on most of our trips and have only shared a shuttle once despite always paying shared shuttle price.

Thanks for that , i'll check their website.

We were hoping just for a regualr taxi though and not a shared one. We've had bad experiences on the VEA last 2 times and want as smooth and quick a transfer this time as we can make it.

Is there a regualr taxi rank at an exit at Terminal 2E? , not something i've looked for before.

I agree with DLPdaft that shared option is the best idea. For 3 people it's 98 eur round trip. We used it twice for a round trip and never had to share.

depending on the time of day/evening you want to jump in a taxi at CDG for DLP, it will cost substantially more than booking a shared/private shuttle transfer in advance (using the same type of saloon cars/minivans that the taxis are). Due to circs beyond my control, I had to jump in a metered taxi at DLP station to get to CDG at around 7pm, and the fare was over 100 euros one way!

Have booked ezy shuttle for our June trip....after looking at costs it only worked out 20 euro dearer than the VEA for a private transfer for 3 adults round trip (our child of 14 is considered an adult now). We have used the VEA for every other trip (9 so far!) and have never had any difficulty but now we don't get free child place and have to pay for 3 adults this just seemed a better option.

Good luck with whatever you choose!
