Private Photo Sessions at Shutters on Fantasy?

Hi DISers!

Was wondering if anybody has made appointments to do private photo sessions onboard the Fantasy? Looking to do a set of engagement/pre-wedding pictures on Fantasy this upcoming October, was wondering if there was an extra cost and how appointments are made?

Tried looking on the DCL website but I don't seem to see anything on private sessions. Wonder if the pictures takes would also be included on the CD if I pre-purchased the full set?

No. From the My Cruise Photos website:

The following is not included with your photo package (digital or print):

• Photos of others in your party not staying in your stateroom.
  
• Group photos, weddings, Quinces and other special occasion photography services.
  
• Generic stock photos of the ship, characters, ports of call, etc.
  
• Any special printing or retouching requests.

Knew it was too good to be true! Thanks for the info. Since there doesn't seem to be any pre-purchasing for special occasion photography services, I guess I'll have to ask the desk as soon as I'm on board...

You can go to Shutters and talk to them. I believe for a fee they will do the private session for you. I do not know how those photos are handled though. We had done this when we had our DFTW Vow Renewal on the Wonder but they offered photo packages then.

Depending on what you are looking for, they do set up backdrops prior to dinners and they are open to anyone. You can go and have your photos done there with a few poses. Those would be included on your CD. I confused the "studio portraits" that I saw people posting with the pre-dinner backdrop photos and thought they were extra when they were actually included. They look just like studio portraits to me with the plain white backdrop or black/gray backdrop ie Picture People style.
