Private Party Cost??

I see on the top of the forums page that they are closing one of the parks for a private party. So what does one of those run? I know it must be for a convention but still.....

It is very expensive. I know at TL we will have after hours surf parties about four nights a week during the summer. Normally it is about ten people, and the cost can vary between $1,300 and $2,500 depending on the size and number of waves. And this is for about three hours with everything closed except the restrooms and changing/shower areas.

When I was seeing if we could afford a Disney wedding, I am fairly sure it was $40,000 for the MK. . . . correct me if I am wrong, but I can go look at the price list again.

It's 42K for a MK wedding, but even then they won't close the park for you, you have to do it after hours.

4 years ago went to a private party at MGM . 65,000 of us paid $100.00 each and it was fantastic( I know not so private <G> ), They did have dj's set up and many bars and they had live entertainment from some famous pop star of the time and fireworks at 2 am ,and had Tot AND RnR open nothing else. It was still worth it.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the MK wedding minimum has gone up to $500,000. (Nope, no extra 0's there.)

Actually that is the price to get married in front of Cinderella’s castle...
Two years ago it was 50k...but this year they up the price to discourage the venue....
Also you have to let them pick the wedding day and its after park hours....

65,000 would be a VERY busy day at MGM. Perhaps 6,500?
