Private Parties on DCL

Does anyone know if before you sail you can arrange a private party/function for during your cruise? Perhaps in one of the restaurants or one of the more private deck areas? Similar to perhaps a wedding in terms of $ spend just excluding the ceremony part?

I don't know about a wedding reserve piton, but on the meets for our 2 upcoming cruises we have arranged a private mixology for 1 cruise, the second is looking at a private 2 hour party with an open barb(the organizers have arranged one before) so seems likely that's it's possible.

Like the other poster, on a past cruise when we had a particularly active Disboard meet, we called DCL and arranged for private wine tastings, martini tastings, etc. Ours were held in Animators Palate early-mid afternoon. Also, Palo has a private dining room that I think can be reserved for groups. I'd call and see what they can do for you.

Do you know how the private mixology was arranged? My thread has been talking about trying to do this, but how can you set it up in advance?

we had a private party for the DIS'rs in Palo for brunch. You put in a fax request. I have a ton of different numbers for this and I can't remember which one was the right one:

Remy's also has a private room. I also recall seeing something called The Stack on deck 14 which I've been told is for small functions.

There have been DIS functions held in the clubs during the afternoon that were reserved before the cruise. There was a champagne tasting organized in Pink on the MV ahead of time. I would suggest calling the main DCL number and request to be put in touch with someone to organize that for you.

We do it through our travel agent. Just make sure that you make your request way in advance. Especially on specialty cruises.
