When you are drenched from head to toe from the JPRA's and Popeye's and Dudley's (and you are not staying on-site), where do you go to get tidied up/changed??!!! Assuming there are not any special ladies rooms equipped with hairdryers, etc.....! next best thing would be a hand dryer, nice washroom with clean mirrors? But where....any secret places you can share?



P.s....Aha.......Spidey, Barry, Prince Eric, DM, etc etc....Know you are having a look...well if you know of any good places....you are welcome to share!!!

I read somewhere about a huge dryer? There is a washroom very close to Popeye and Dudley.

I usually just drip dry! Gotta love that natural look

I heard about that too.....I used to drip dry when I had the messy, curly look. Since then my hair style's changed - now sleeker, a bit layered, longer and I blow dry it. Having said that, still can go for the messy look! But where to change, refresh the make-up? My thoughts are for lunch etc at somewhere like Tchoup chop and wanting to just freshen up and possibly change into something nice, then change back again after lunch for Round 2!!

Can't help you out with this question though...I usually stay away from water rides unless I'm staying onsite, or it's really sunny out.

(and now I've told an even grosser one).... I think I had better not wander over there again, I was only trying to help....


P.s....Hiya Prince Eric.......thanks for the tip!! Did you have a nice Easter? I have tried to ride in bikini top and swim shorts, but they asked me to put my top back on.

I just had to go over and read your posts on the "Disney for Families" board. Too funny! Yeah, they're gross and I wouldn't think it was very funny if it happened to me, but it's still funny. I actually have a little nasty-toothbrush karma coming my way for something I did to my Stepdad when I was like 12. I was a very, very bad girl.

Oh, about the changing thing. There's not much I can do with my hair without taking a shower, shampooing, blow drying, straightening, etc. so I just pull all of hair back and put it in a bun. It stays out of my face and doesn't look like the big rats nest that it could look like. There's a big restroom in Toon Lagoon that you can change in. It's been clean and fairly empty the few times I've been in there.

Are you staying onsite? If so, I'd just go back to the room, relax for awhile, change and then go out again.

Prince Eric, I'll have to try out your method later this month. I'll let you know how it goes!

Another one for drip dry! I only wear eye make-up, and on days where I'll be doing water rides, I use waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Otherwise, I'm on vacation! Who cares!

P.S. I thought I had outgrown having nightmares about the Boogie man!

I'm kind of like Prince Eric, but I take off my clothes before I go on the water ride, then I go into the bathroom and dry myself with paper towels, and put my clothes back on. They usually let me walk right on, when they see me naked....

My point exactly. Of course when I first did this they just thought I was a paler version of the Hulk, but I digress.

Selina, I just read your posts on the Family board, and even I was a bit queezy after. That was hilarious and disgusting. I have since started carrying my toothbrush with me in my shoe at all times. It smells a little funky, but at least I know where its been.

Hi Selina! It's me - Threeboysmom!! I'm not disgusted with YOU, but with your little "stories" I think everyone would agree with me - how GROSS!!!! I'm glad you posted it though - It'll make me all the more vigilent about where I leave my toothbrush lying around Actually, there was another "disgusting" thread I read about a year ago that was always my #1 gross-out story until yours came about! It was about a Dis'er who observed a foreign woman in a restroom at Epcot who squatted on the floor and pooped into her hand! The worst was that she left the restroom without washing!!!!!!!! Always, always, always keep that antibacterial lotion handy when you're at the parks!! And now..... always, always, always protect your toothbrush at all costs!

Sorry I can't help you about the restroom issue. I stay onsite so I can always go back to my room to freshen up again. I'm a "high maintenance" type of girl My hair looks awful when wet.... Sometimes,if I'm not heading back to the room, I just put my vanity aside and pull all my hair back into a ponytail or bun and then continue on having fun!!!! I would guess that the bathroom near Popeyes would be the most appropriate for cleaning up. You would think that Universal would have thought of all the females riding this ride........

I think I'll keep my toothbrush in my purse from now on.

Prince Eric, how do you know where your shoes have been? I wonder what burglers or housekeeping do with them when you are not around!
