If you are going to send one to someone and on top of that a nasty one at that PLEASE do not block it so you can get one back??? How rude and cowardly. that is all!!! :snooty:

Eh - I wouldn't even bother replying to a pinhead sending a nasty PM. Ignore the morons. :-)

No that is not what happened, someone gave me some advice on something and I choose not to follow it and she pmed me trying to make me follow her advice and blocked to where I couldn't send her a pm back.

:woohoo: :yay:

I'm not fixing it again. It's staying like that.

Signature beggars can't be choosers. You're lucky it doesn't say - WVJules - screw the marathon and grab yourself a Bud Select 55 (less calories) and some onion rings. ;)

Fixed it. :thumbsup2

what did it say when you sent the pm? Because it used to be that it would just send like normal.

It said _______has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

ETA: someone did point out that she may not be able to receive them now as she might have gotten points for it. I can see that.

But the PMs were blocked before you posted here, so she couldn't have gotten points due to the PM she sent in time for your reply not to have gone through. Any points she may have received due to the PM she sent would only have occurred after you posted this - how else would the mods have known about it?

Perhaps, she received points due to something else though.

I'd hope someone could point it out to me so that I wouldn't continue embarrassing myself.

I'd hope someone could point it out to me, too, so that I coulod ignore them. My spelling/grammatical errors wouldn't embarrass me. If you (you as in anyone) are going to judge me by something so nitpicky as that, you (as in anyone) have more problems than a person who can't spell.

Honestly, the English lesson is the most useful part of this thread.

For me, the most useful part is the fun of it. Fun is always useful, wouldn't you say?

Play time is over. Time to go home and pack! :thumbsup2

Have FUN!! I wish I were you!!

Then it could very well have nothing to do with you. I'd say let it go and move on.

OP - The delete button is your friend.

The pm sender is probably getting quite a kick out of all of the attention. ;)

So are you the type of person who doesn't want your friends to point out that you have something stuck in your teeth? ;)

Oh no, please DO. Just don't tell me I used there instead of their if it's message board stuff. I'd think it petty. If you caught it on my resume' or my office paperwork, in that case I'd appreciate it.

But lord yes, if I have a piece of spinach in my teeth!

There's a difference between pointing out to your friend that she has food in her teeth, and another thing entirely to take a video of it and post it on Youtube for the world to see. You weren't doing it to help a friend, you were doing it to embarass her and feel superior. Big difference.

I didn't think moderators got involved with PM's so people wouldn't get points for sending something in a PM.
