ad·vice (d-vs)

2. Information communicated; news. Often used in the plural: advices from an ambassador.

I think we all got what you meant....this isn't the grammar thread...that one is down the page a little bit.![]()

Thank you I guess I don't understand why things like that have to be pointed out in the first place. I mean this is a mess board and it doesn;t have to be perfect. Plus this has nothing to do with the subject anyway.![]()
I never correct my errors anymore. I like to give the poor miserable nitpickers something to live for!

<-----------can't send PMs.![]()

Yes but aren't you glad you've learned the difference between advice and advise now?If I were constantly using the wrong word, I'd hope someone could point it out to me so that I wouldn't continue embarrassing myself.

Does this mean you can't play the PM game where we send nice thoughts to each other
Maybe that is where the problem PM came from, maybe someone didn't understand the rules of the send someone a PM challenge

ETA: you learn something new everyday. However lets remember that some people may not be aware of making a mistake and pointing out nicely should always be the way to go. and also lets remember that we should treat others the way we want them to treat us. .

Sadly yes! I will be unable to participate until June 13.![]()

Wow... that's pathetic, truly. Both the sending of a PM without allowing a reply, AND derailing the thread because someone believed you needed an English lesson. Seriously people need to learn to grow up a bit.![]()

Not to mention - I will never understand the vested personal energy people put into boards. It's really strange.
I've said it a million times, I don't remember posters - I occasionally will remember the avatar or signature, - but sometimes those are crap shoots, too. And forget about it, if you change the pictures.
I - not just here, in all of life - don't understand the need to break people down. I try - I really try - to always lift people up. It makes both you, and the other person, feel good.
And there will be people who will eyeroll at me, and say they don't think that's what I do - but whatever. I don't care. If a great thread, causes one person to have a smile on their face all day, then that's fantastic! Who doesn't need extra smiles and good vibes in their life?
We're all here because we have one thing in common (Disney!!!) - and I see no reason to make another human being feel icky. I just don't want to go in that direction.
JMHO.![]()

But if the grammar is so bad that it is hard to understand the post... perhaps it should be a grammar thread.
You need a countdown calendar in your siggie!
I actually have 2 in there already. One telling me that I'm leaving tomorrow and another telling me to put down the donuts since I'm training for the Disney 1/2 in January.
