Private driver in St. Thomas - cheaper than jitney/van?

Getting a cab from the ship to Red Hook is about $150 round-trip for my party of six. $10/head each way + 20% tip = $72. Round-trip = $144.

Can I do better with a private driver? I've never used one before, so I don't know what they charge or how to find a good one.

Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!
