Private Dining Frustration!!

So, I did alot of research on Private Dining...including searching these boards. I called GF Private Dining and was told SEVERAL TIMES that the only options for locations are the 3rd floor terrace and the Grand I Yacht. I have read on these boards that others have had beach locations and others! Anyone help?? Is there another person to try?? I had also booked a private Illuminations dessert reception last year so I called that person in catering and conventions. She can hook me up with an Illuminations dinner on a private terrace but I really wanted to do something different this year.

I would guess that they are trying to standardize the private dining a bit and only offering the 2 locations mentioned. However, there is definitely at least one more standard location at the GF for private events....at least, in my recollection, don't they offer the summerhouse beach area for parties? I know I have seen parties set up there before, and know DISers who had parties there quite recently. Maybe the GF is using that space for something else during your trip dates? Try asking them specifically about the summerhouse.

2) We have had Private Dining

. . . on the GF terrace above/adjacent to the beach near the beach house
