Privacy curtains at moderates

Where exactly is the curtain located? We are staying at POR.

Thanks!

It is between the sleeping area and the vanity area.

Here is a photo taken at CBR. You can see the curtain and curtain pull on the left side of the photo:

Have fun at Disney!:wizard:

I think the privacy curtain is great. The moderate and value resort bathrooms tend to be on the small side, so less room for dressing. I would personally mortified if my daughters age 9 and 11 saw my husband in the nude and so would he and them!

I like the curtain, you put on a recording of "Hey Big Spender" and its show time.

I loved the curtain. We were travelling with some of our grandkids so it came in handy.

Honestly, even if it was only DH and I, I'd use it. I don't care for anyone watching me while I'm brushing my teeth, etc. Some things are private.

I travel with my dad, so privacy is necessary. My only complaint is that the curtain is bright yellow. So when the light in the bathroom is on and the rest of the room is dark it looked like high noon it was so bright!

We just got back from POFQ and used the 'curtain' it came in handy when DH popped out to buy beignets for breakfast.....I was getting ready behind the 'curtain' DH didn't have to worry about coming back, opening the door and exposing my nakedness to the world.:scared:
It also came in handy at CBR when we shared with DD aged 15.

while I am certain the curtain will be used when traveling with older kids of opposite sexes and extended family in same room I just wish the rooms could have been constructed differently to eliminate it. It does look like a rather cheap modification IMO. It is what it is I suppose.

I love the privacy curtain! I'm travelling with my mum and dad (i'm 22) and although we're a close family, we're not that close :rotfl:
I some other hotels Dad has to leave the room while mum and myself get dressed - a huge pain - so I say well done Disney for the imaginative thinking :thumbsup2

When traveling with a child under 3 in a Pack-N-Play, we put the PNP in the corner of the vanity area, under the curtain rod. We closed the curtain and it made it quite dark there and he was able to go to sleep earlier than we did. Very handy!

We like the curtain! I think it was a great idea. It may not look very appealing, but it sure does come in handy for some families or friends.

We liked that there was a privacy curtain.

I was always the first one up in the morning and having the curtain closed helped keep the harsh light from my son and DH while they still slept. I didn't feel that the curtain was in the way at all as long as you just have it push back towards the wall. No big deal to me. :confused3

I'll say it again - I love the curtain, but, of all the wonderfuld things Disney has to offer we are talking about the curtain? :rotfl:

If you are traveling with your kids (and they aren't little kids) or someone unrelated to you, it comes in very handy.

Flashback - "The Wet Hot Wife" from European Vacation!! :lmao:

I haven't been to any of the resorts since the privacy curtains have been added. It wouldn't make any difference to me (it's just me & DH), but I can see where it would be great when you have modest teens, or you're sharing a room with the in-laws (which we can never do again, since they both snore like gorillas!).

We stayed at CBR two years ago, and used the privacy curtain to create a small area for our DD (15mo) to sleep in her Pack-n-play. If she could see us, she wouldn't lie down and go to sleep, but pulling the curtain took care of that problem. It would have been impossible for us to stay there without it.

Well, we've covered all the other stuff. We're obviously scraping the bottom of the barrel for a new topic or two. :lmao:

I may have invented the privacy curtain! I used to carry a tension rod and a sheet to create our own!
