Hi,

Can anyone tell me what number I have to dial from the UK to make Priority Seating requests at WD restaurants please.

Regards,

Ivor

Ivor,

I am not sure of OUR country code, but I do know that the Disney Dining number is 407-939-3463. That's probably what you have already, but maybe that'll help.

Good luck.

BensMom -- easy answer to the country code question....since america is the center of the universe, the country code is 1....(canada gets to go along for the ride)...
talk about being self-centered, eh?...."1"...
the UK is 44....lots of countries have 3 digit country codes, but the US has "1"....i've always found that amusing...

I'm embarrassed to say that I've never dialed out of the country or back in (at least, not that I know of!). Please excuse the ignorance. My grandfather was born on London in 1889, way before the telephone! LOL

I highly recommend the priority seating. I remember walking out of Tower of Terror at MGM, and my friend and I got this sudden urge to eat dinner at The Brown Derby. I called from the cell, and by the time it took us to walk there, we only had a 15 minute wait, as opposed to an hour for walk-ins. We enjoyed a very good dinner and finished just in time to make it to Fantasmic (Maybe I shouldn't have told anyone about my great experience - shhh!) It was like having a Fastpass for dinner! Of course, this luck doesn't work with Cindy's Table and the more popular character dining venues, but it certainly did help in this case.

BensMom -- that's certainly nothing to be embarrassed about.....to call out of the US, in case you ever have to, you have to first dial 011 then the country code and number of the person you're dialing.....so if you were dialing someone in the UK, you would dial 011-44 and then the phone number of that person (including their area code, or whatever they call it in the UK)...
where i live, it's like in the UK...we have to dial 00 to get an international connection...so when i call the UK i dial 0044.....when i dial the US, i dial 001 and the number (including the area code)....
it's really much simpler than it sounds...

as for your comment about not knowing when you've made international calls...you're quite right.....many of the telephone company call centers you call in the US are actually offshore (i.e., india or other places), though you obviously don't pay for that call and aren't supposed to know you're calling overseas........
