Priority Seating

I noticed on the Universal web site that it listed: "Priority Seating at select Restaurants throughout the resort" as an on-site benefit.
I'm not sure what this means.... is it the ability to make reservations, or a better table when you get there, or maybe something else?

I am wondering about this also. We are a party of 5 staying at HRH and going in August. Will we be OK not making reservations because of this priority seating or is it better to make reservations anyway?

It means at certain restaurants you can show your room key and you will get the next available table for your party size ahead of other walk ups..You can always make actual reservations at Opentable.com for many of the restaurants.They arent neccessary, but I like doing it to make sure we eat when I want

Bubba Gumps does not take ressies nor do they do Priority seating.The place has been packed everytime we have tried to go too.

we tried using our key at margeretaville on a saturday but was told they dont accept them at weekends, which seems strange as it is supposed to be a perk of staying at a resort hotel in my opinion

We get that BS all the time from Margaritaville. It's now a place to avoid since they make their own rules.

I was there on a weekend date and I flashed my card and bypassed the 2 hour wait. So I wonder if it's a miscommunication issue between some people or some people don't actually know the rules

You can sign up for one at any of their restaurants and you may be able to sign up on the Landry Select website.
