Sorry - I know this question is asked all the time, but I seem to have some conflicting information about the surefire way to get what you want.

I have the number as 001 407 939 3463, hopefully that's right!

I know that the reservation lines open at 7am Eastern, and so I should start trying from a couple of minutes to midday our time.

After that, I'm a little confused. I appreciate there is a recorded message telling you the office is closed, and that at some point close to the beginning of the message, there is a word that you should hang up on and dial again. Not certain of what that word would be now. Does anyone have the current answer to this?

Next, once the office is open, there are a number of different questions that can be bypasssed - I think someone said by pressing 1, then 1 again - as soon as the recording starts??

Will I then be connected to a real live person?

Sorry for all the questions. As I say, I have read many thread relating to this, but I could do some clarification! It's brought out my competitive side to say the least!

Thanks for your help:flower:.

To answer one of your questions...i phoned yesterday and was on hold for awhile, and there was music playing and then i spoke to a very nice lady who took my bookings (so a real person), although i don't think she found my black country accent the easiest, especially when it came to my postal code! :flower:

I made our ADR's a couple of months ago over several phone calls to disney. The longest I was on hold was 10 minutes and I made my calls between 12pm and 2pm our time. I called again yesterday at 7pm our time and got straight through. There is a menu you have to go through, and the items are listed on a current thread on here somewhere. When it asks for your reservation number or phone number followed by pound (!) type in you full phone number and code missing off the first 0 - that should give you ten digits - eg 01234 567890 would be 1234 567890, followed by #.

Good luck and if you are on hold you get to listen to real disney songs! (I'll never get over that will I?!!).

or you can bypass the menu options by just pressing 1 at each prompt ( it bumps you up the q quicker apparently) hth :)

I would also say not to worry too much about dialling before 7am Eastern and the whole race to the operator, etc. unless you want something really popular (CRT, Character Breakfasts, for example). I managed to get the CP Package of my choice (with Le Cellier being the restaurant!) and I didn't call until about 8pm Eastern.

Thanks for the advice. It is Cinderella's Table breakfast we were looking for, and I know that's really popular. When I originally started looking, it was 90 days for all, but as I understand it now, WDW guests can book 90 days from the start of their hotel stay, so we may be out of luck anyway. Just wanted to be in with the best shout possible!

I'll let you know how I get on....:goodvibes

:) just wanted to add that if you can't get crt straight away then its worth calling 48hrs before you want the table as thats when you must cancel or lose your deposit :)
good luck

Thanks for the tip! Will definitely remember that one if I don't get lucky. Fingers crossed....

A few months ago I saw a detailed description on these boards of how best to get a reservation for Cinderella's breakfast - I think it was on the Disney Restaurant board - it might be worth searching or perhaps someone else knows the link? Sorry I can't be more specific but it did look useful. :flower:

Got it! Cinderella's Table for breakfast!!

I'm so excited. I can't believe it!!

Thank you so much for all the great tips. They definitely work.

For anyone else, press 1 first (option 2 booking something else- can't remember what - given first, ), then '1' (been to Disney before), 1 (more than 4 times), telephone number without first '0', followed by #, on hold for about 2 mins, then get straight in there (friendly chat with telephonist can wait for later!!)

Whoopee!! :jumping1:

Well done, you! now we'll all be waiting for that trip report!
