I'm very used to the WDW madness of ADRs. I know for DLR that A) they're still called Priority Seatings and B) you can make them at 60 days out, but they're not totally necessary for all restaurants.

My question is this...at what restaurants is it important to call at 60 days? I assume that Blue Bayou is one, are there any others? Or, if I can wait past 60 days, at what point do I really want to be on the phone?

Help! :confused3

...Oh, and we're looking so far at the Jazz Kitchen (early on our first night), lunch at Cafe Orleans, lunch at Wine County Trattoria, some Character Breakfast (first seating on our first morning), and possibly Napa Rose. ...I'd love some feedback on a Character Breakfast too! I was leaning towards Storyteller's because I prefer a served breakfast, but their prices for a plate are steep ($18 for French Toast?!) So I'm open for suggestions. Since we're coming in from the East Coast, I figure we'll be up super early, so I'm looking for one we can do before the parks open and then hit rope drop...

I can't help you with the morning character breakfasts, but as far as PS's go, BB is a must, and depending on when you go, honestly all of them are important. I'm going in March (during Spring Break), so I'll be making one for Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans since it will be packed. Napa Rose, if you plan on dining there is another one I'd call ahead for. I'm a big planner, so I like to call as close to the 60 days as possible, just so I can get the time you really want, but I know people on this board have waited pretty close to their trip and still had luck getting a PS, although they can be at undesirable times.

We just returned from two weeks at Disneyland.

Before we left (which was less than two weeks) we made a PS for Blue Bayou which I agree is a must if you are going there. We also made some others but only for the first week. We found the second week really easy to get PS for most of the restaurnats even at the last minute and it was very busy with it being a few days before Christmas. Even Carnation Cafe for example. We ate there a lot and knew that it was not a good idea to turn up there without a PS, so when we wanted to go there, we would call Disney Dining and make a PS, on our last day we made it about half an hour before the PS time and when we got there the queue for no PS was really long and we just walked straight in! We also made last minute reservations for Goofys Kitchen (like the day before for breakfast the next morning etc).

I do recommend making PS for any restaruant that accepts them but it is not like WDW where you have to call so far in advance. Even calling the day you want it at many of the restaurants you will get a PS (maybe not at the exact time that you want, but at a good time)

It seemed quite easy to get a PS, but aside from Blue Bayou, you have more time compared to WDW.

Is there a list somewhere of all the places at DLR that accept PS?
