Priority Seating Information

Hi:
I need some information about priority seating reservations at the Magic Kingdom.
I purchased tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and made myself a follow-up message to call for priority seating at Liberty Tree Tavern 60 days prior to the October 26th date on our tickets.
The other day I happened to read a forum posting about someone who had purchased tickets for MNSSHP and had already made dinner reservations. Needless to say I called and made my dinner reservations, but if I hadn't read the forum posting I would not have known I didn't have to wait until 60 days prior to October 26th.
My question is how did that person know you didn't have to wait 60 days and that you could make dinner reservations as soon as you purchased the tickets.
Is there something in writing telling people about this or is the information passed on by word of mouth.
Is the 60 day priority seating requirement relaxed on any other Magic Kingdom event?

Thank you for any information anyone can give me.

I'm going to move this over to our restaurants board for you. I'm sure the veterans there will have some great advice and information about this for you.

WDW ran a special for only LTT and the ticketed Halloween and Christmas parties at the Magic Kingdom. The other MK restaurants are still only 60 days plus LTT is for earlier in the day and non-party days.

The person found out because it was reported by other DISer's who had called and a CM told them. They then told us! Another event which takes place every year it the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. WDW Dining will have a special for these events were you make a PS at an Epcot restaurant and then get a voucher for a special seating area to see the CP.

There's also a Fantasmic! Dinner Package for MGM. There you make a PS for dinner at either The Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's or Hollywood & Vine and get a voucher for special seating to watch the Fantasmic! show that evening.

For more PS information, visit my site (use links below).

Thanks for responding to my posting. You answered all my questions. We will be in WDW in December and plan to see the CP. The added information about the CP will be very helpful.

Thanks again,

BarbaraK
