Priority Seating - forget to cancel question?

I understand that when you make a Priority Seating you must leave a credit card #.

So, what happens if you forget to cancel a Priority Seating?
Do they charge you???

Hi,

I have only encountered the request for CC info with the PS for Cinderella's Royal Table, due to its immense popularity. I was told at the time I was lucky enough to get a PS for it, that they will charge a fee to the CC if we did not show up or not cancel 24+ hrs before the PS date/time.

I cant remember how much (I want to say about $10 pp). I dont plan missing this one, as DD is eagerly awaiting this event.

I believe they also take a CC number for the Fantasmic Dinner Packages. And I believe the previous poster is correct, that they will charge $10/pp if you don't cancel at least 24 hours in advance........... I would call Disney Dining at 1-407-WDW-Dine to find out for sure.......................P

we made PS for 3 character breakfasts (at crystal palace, ohana's and cape may) and for 1 dinner at Chef Mickeys and we WERE asked for credit card.

Are you saying they should NOT have asked for credit card? Should we call back and ask about this?

It also depends on when you are going, if you are eating on a holiday, Easter, Mother's Day etc, they will ask for the CC.
Other than the Fanstasmic Dinner Package, Hoopdeedo, the Luau or the Cinderella Breakfast I have not been asked for a CC upfront.

I think it depends on which CB or CD you book. We have PS for CP on two seperate nights, not sure which night we will be in MK, through Dreams Unlimited and we were told if you dont make one dont worry about it you wont be charged. At least that is what they tell me

We have never been asked for a CC for our PS. Including the one's next week. However, I've never made a PS for a holiday. And I've never made one for CRT for Brkfst, or Fantasmic Dinner pkg. I thought those were the only times you needed a CC# to hold. I just made PS's last week and wasn't asked.

Credit Cards are required for CRT and the Storybook Princess Breakfast (due to their popularity), as well as the Fanstasmic Dinner Package, Hoopdeedo, the Luau. If you don't cancel you will be charged. In the case of the breakfasts it is $10 (per person?). For the other events I'm not sure what the charge is.

In general, for all other PS a credit card isn't required and there is no penalty for not cancelling. Holidays may be a different story.
