I e-mailed MS just this morning regarding the procedure, and just received the following reply!

"Barbara:

Please check in at Guest Relations at the front of the theme park. You should receive a wristband
which will then give priority seating to one of the shows. Guest Relations will have additional
information for you.

Have a magical day,
Garth"

Just in case anyone else wanted the information. That was a fast turn-around. I prefer to e-mail rather than call. I am sooo ready to leave for WDW!

Boy, thanks for the info. I thought we just had to go to the American Gardens theater. Please post when you get back as to how that Priority Seating was.

We were there tonight for Gary Puckett. Unfortunately, did not know about the bracelets. The DVC section is right down front on the left when facing the stage. Limited to 200 per show. They also have bracelets at International Gateway Guest Relations according to a cast member.

What are the times for these shows?

Sounds like Priority Seating is available for DVC members? We'll need to check into that.

I will have to try this! Thank you for the info. Have a great trip!:sunny:

Here are the times:

Flower Power Concert Series
(Show Location America Gardens Theatre):
Show times 5:45pm, 7:00pm & 8:15pm

You are to show your DVC card and your WDW room card.

well let me tell you I found out the hard way and I was very peeved. I was reading in the member perks paper it did not say anything about going to guest relations. Well we went to the show and they told us that we would have to walk all the way to the front to guest relations in order to get the wristbands. It wasn't worth it to me to walk all the way to the front of the park.

Thank you for the tip bobbiwoz! We'll be there for:

Eric Burdon & The Animals, Paul Revere & The Raiders, Arlo Guthrie :bounce: and
Felix Cavaliere's Rascals

and hope to catch all (or most!) of them.

Thank you! We were planning on taking advantage of this and see Lovin Spoonful.

It should be a lot of fun. :)

I was soooooo bummed that the Animals will be there the day BEFORE we will! :( We are going to settle for Paul Revere and the Raiders.....not quite the same though.

But hey...we'll be on vacation so I guess I'll get over it. ::yes::

I am really impressed with the concerts you'll be there for, aikodude!

Well, if it's any help - last year PRatR sang an Animals song - We Gotta Get Out of this Place. At least - I think it's the Animals?

Anyway PRatR were very good, very energetic. Garry Lewis and the Playboys were sounded like a bad wedding band though.

Thanks for the info on Paul Revere and the Raiders. I remember some of their stuff from the good ole' days of AM radio. I remember seeing them on TV when I was a kid. They are good, but the Animals are phenomenal! Burden has a great voice and I love R&B and straight old fashioned blues. Used to hit all of the Blues bars in Chicago when I was in school.

I'm sure that DW and I will have a great time no matter who is playing! :bounce:

We are going to be off property for two days before checking into OKW. Those two days are the last of the festival. Will we not be able to use the VIP seating? I didn't see on the ap website anything about room keys?

Must be because it's our first trip "home"! :smooth: I've heard they pull out all the stops for new members! :teeth:

thanks again, big time!

Keep in mind that this seating area is for both AP and DVC so they can run out of wristbands early. If you have an AP that is all you have to show - no room key required. Also, at least during Davy Jones, they were pretty clueless at AGT regarding their procedures but they may have improved it by now.

Enjoy!

Please tell me more??

Is there a list of the concerts on line somewhere??

I'll be going home for the 1st time beginning this coming Friday..
Thanks and Have a Disney Day !!!

Single digit dance...YES...:jumping1: :jumping1:
