Priority check-in TCD

Dare I say that I'm travelling with TCD in Sept!!! We've upgraded to Sunshine Premium, and just wondered how the priority check in is. Last time We flew upgraded with Virgin and it only took about 2 mins to check in Any chance we'll be that lucky again?? Any experience of sunshine premium from anyone?? I can take it - good, bad or indifferent SEVEN weeks to go (is it too early to start dancing yet)?? (just a little one)!

I haven't myself travelled premium or upper but from what i can remember there was an extra line for those travelling in the above, so they could check in.There was never a queue for them to check in so i would think you would be done quickly.

We were upgraded to Sunshine Premium for free on our return flight last year (we have no idea why - we were called up to the desk and our seat numbers were changed while we were sat in Sanford but we didn't know we'd been upgraded until we were directed upstairs!) All I noticed was that the Sunshine Premium seats were called up first and we almost walked straight onto the plane with a tiny queue (about 1 min).

What date are you flying out, and are you going with TCD again?

We're flying out on Sept 30th from Manchester and yes we are going with TCD. We haven't upgraded to Sunshine Premium this time as it costs too much (we're trying to make this as much a budget trip as possible - yeah right!)

I have just recently travelled with Travel City Direct and i upgraded to Sunshine Upper. The check-in at Manchester was great, it took two minutes. Boarding the plane was quick as we were called out first along with fellow upgraded passengers. However we had to get back off the plane and on re-boarding everyone was called together. On arrival at Sanford there was no one checking in at any of the desks, as our bus got stuck in traffic from an accident and arrived quite late. I was disgusted then how everyone on our bus piled into the priority check-in for Sunshine Upper, Premium and First which totally invalidates the priority check-in. The driver got our cases off last so we were stuck at the back of the queue, even though we had upgraded!

did sunshine first last year and it was cool
checked in really quick and 1st on plane,seats were massive!!felt totally chilled out on arrival in sanford.
Next year we are going in premium because sf has gone so dear-but i have been told that there isn't really much difference between the 2-except the price of course
