Planning a trip to disneyland paris, so excited! Wondering how priority access pass works looked at documents that were required to get it for my autistic son and unfortunately we do not have any of the documents they require. We were able to use our doctors note on letterhead in order to get the disability pass at Disney world will that be sufficient in Paris? These are the legal documents that they will accept. Most of these are from the veterans affairs. My son is 11.
We accept the following valid documents from this country:
  1. Disability card issued by the US Department of Veterans Affairs
  2. Parking Card for Disabled People
  3. Other official disability documents issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs
  4. Social Security Disability Insurance (SSD)
  5. Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  6. VA Disability Compensation Benefits
  7. Parking Badge; permanent or temporary
  8. Access pass : America The Beautiful

We are taking my 10-year-old autistic son in April, and have done some research. A doctors note will not get you the priority pass, it will get you an appointment book that allows you to set a return time to come back to the attraction. Having one of the documents listed is the only way to get the priority card. I contacted our local office that issues the America the beautiful passes, and asked if autism qualified for the access pass. She said that it did. I asked if his IEP from school would be sufficient proof, and she said that anything that lists the disability will work. I’m sure a doctors note would obviously qualify to, but that would require a trip to the doctor, so using his IEP is just easier. Good luck.

You will get the access pass, not the priority pass. It is just like what they have at WDW where you will get a time at each location and then come back. You can have one parent go get a time and then just hang out. One of the great things about DLP though is that there is plenty to do without any wait while you wait. For example, if you are waiting for Peter Pan- go do Alice's Labyrinth. If you are waiting for Phantom Manor- go do the Aladdin walkthrough. And for Pirates- go visit the Island, way better than the one at WDW. The park is just so much more beautiful than WDW, your child will probably be overly visually stimulated and less worried about the rides, since they are sort of less "in your face" than at WDW (its hard to explain, but you will see when you get there). If you need a break at DLP, the Hyperion restaurant in Tomorrowland has a large area with Disney short (Mickey and Minnie) films showing on a loop. You will see a ton of families eating picnics, taking naps, letting kids roam, etc. here and its a great spot for that "we need a moment" moment. Enjoy!

- now that the COVID re entry testing for US is ending…I am in the beginning stages of planning

Can anyone advise if and how they have been able to secure the pass in advance…I am reading it can be done 1 month prior but just not sure how… I have most of the documentation listed above but no idea where to start

The DLP website:
Scroll down to access cards: https://www.disneylandparis.com/en-gb/guest-services/accessibility-at-disneylandparis/
If you have a permanent disability, you can request it one month in advance, click on 'request my card'. https://www.disneylandparis.com/en-gb/guest-services/priority-card/

How do I request a Priority Card or Easy Access Card?

You can request your Priority Card up to one month before your visit by using the link above or by clicking here. You can also request it once on-site with the help of our Cast Members, upon presentation of an original document issued by the government or medical authority. Please note, a medical certificate will not be sufficient. We are required to take a photograph of you on the day.

For Easy Access Cards, you can request it on the day of arrival by presenting an original medical certificate (in French or English signed and stamped by a medical doctor and less than 3 months old) indicating the Long Term Chronic Disease at the concierge or reception desk of your hotel, or at the entrance to the Disney Parks.
