Printing threads in plain text (no avatars etc.)

Hi!

I would like to print a thread and its' messages but can't find any option to print in 'plain text' or some wording like that.

I'm using Chrome on a PC.

When I right click on the first post here, (on Chrome), the print page comes up and when I check the "simplify print" box it only has the words, no avatars/headers etc. Well, It does have the signatures, though.

OK, try this: highlight the whole thread. Then right click in an empty (non-highlighted area) click "print". Then on the print page check the "simplify page" box. That's the closest I could get.

Thank you PrincessShmoo for jogging my memory; I was mistakenly remembering a link that used to be posted at the top right of each thread in Old Board days. And I also forgot I have a Chrome extension that prints almost anything on the web, allows deleting parts if desired and saving as a PDF for reference.

Duh! Must have forgotten to eat my Wheaties today! Thanks again!!!

I've found this -- seems kinda involved but not really:

• in the lower right near "Like" click on the post# that you want to print -- for example, this is post #4 and the one above by klmall is #3
• at the bottom of the pop-up is "Share This Page" and several options maybe showing Facebook, Pinterest, Tweet, etc.
• one of those options for me is a green box that when I hover over it says "PrintFriendly"
  • if it doesn't show, maybe click on the orange "+" to show more options
• From there I could select "Remove Images" and then print

There may be another way, but that's what I've found so far. I don't usually print threads, though.

Hmm....I don't have that green box on my options.

When I click on the orange + I get some other options (like 2 more) but nothing about printing.
