Doubt that i will be at my resort at the 24 hour mark to get my boarding pass.If at a different resort will they print the pass. Will customer relations at parks or DS also do it. Does the pass need to be printed at the 24 hour mark or do I just need to log in and get my boarding number and get the pass printed later on. Will RAC print the boarding pass when I drop off the luggage or does it need to be printed before hand

You just need to log in and get your boarding number at 24 hours and either RAC will print it for you when you are checking your luggage, or you can get it printed at the airport. Have you thought about paying for EBCI, so you don't have to worry about checking in at 24 hours?

This is a very good point and we only get the EBCI for this reason. I don't want to have to think about checking in 24 hours before I leave my happy place. I check in at home before I leave, but its worth the money not to have to worry about it the day before you leave bubble.

MCO is equipped to accept electronic boarding passes. Just download the pass to your phone and you don't have to worry about printing at all.
I believe this only works if you have a solo reservation. If you have multiple people on the reservation, I think you can only do paper.

Why would it matter how many people are on the reservation?
That's a question for Southwest.

I was only able to get the digital pass if I was the only one on the reservation. Maybe it has to do, and only speculation, with that fact that a family of 4 may not all have a smartphone(s) and not sure if you can only have one pass per device. My 3yo doesn't have a phone.

Our last trip in January of 16 I downloaded all the passes and just swiped from one to the next while checking in.

I want to say that when I had digital passes for multiple people on my phone it was TSA who wanted me to have them separate. I guess they prefer to have one pass/one id to look at instead of a whole group of people? I'm not sure, but since then I always print them at the airport.

The last several times I've gone through security at MCO, with a SW boarding pass that was printed at RAC, I had to go back to the counters and get a new one printed up!!! Seems there can be an issue with those boarding passes. I would just use my phone..or go directly to one of the SW kiosks and print it at the airport.

Same here! For both SW and Jet Blue I have had to reprint the BP at the airport to get scanned for Pre-check. One TSA agent told me they often have problems scanning the RAC ones. Don't know if it's poor print quality on the bar code or low ink level on their printers, or whatever. We just make it a point to stop by the kiosks and reprint them before we get into the TSA lines.

There is no reason--TSA legal or otherwise--to not use an electronic boarding pass, especially for Southwest, which allows you to do everything in its app. Just purchase Early Bird Check In, relax, and forget about the entire matter.

once I have my boarding pass on my phone. can I do a screen shot and use that to go through security. I am relying on WIFI (no data because of roaming fees) Just installed the app to the phone.

Yes, you can save it to photos.

I got this same info. when calling Southwest when only getting passes popping up to print, not the option to text to phone, like I did last time. He said it only works with single reservations, which I did have last time, since I had book one with points. I also thought it was weird I couldn't do it for more people. I did not do it from the app, so not sure if it works there, but could not online.

We had the same problem. Waited in the line for a half hour, only be told that two of our five passes wouldn't scan. So we had to walk back to the sw area and reprint new boarding passes and stand in line again (luckily we were there early enough). From now on even after using RAC we will go to a kiosk and print new passes. I also don't really trust multiple tickets on one phone. It may be ok (we aren't frequent fliers so don't know) but I'd rather be certain.

We got our boarding passes from RAC the morning we left even though I checked in the night before. Check they are clear and the ink isn't faded.
The SW kiosk at the airport on the way down at the start of our trip, it didn't print the passes clearly. All 5 of us had to leave the security line (after getting to the front) and have the passes reprinted by an agent :crazy2:.

BP's on your phone are great, but if there is a computer problem at the airport (equipment or systemic), they can be temporarily disallowed. Nastiest line I've ever seen was 200 people waiting in line at a gate to get printed BP's because the system was down and could not verify them. They all had to line up to get paper reprints from the one printer that was working at the gate.

You can always re-print any BP's you have on your reservation if you haven't boarded yet. You just need to do your check-in by phone at the right time(with or without the app, though the app is fast if you have all the tickets registered on it.) If you are checking bags reprints can be done then, either by an agent or using one of the landside kiosks at MCO. To re-print, just go through the motions to check in, and since you already have, what the system will bring up will be the reprint function.
