Printing Shutters Digital Photos from Disney Cruise

So we purchased the Shutters digital photo package on-board our recent Disney Dream cruise (June 28th 5-night double dip CC).

When I try to print these as a 4x6 or 5x7 it crops out a good amount of the picture and the decorative boarders. Anyone know a good place to print these where they come out 'normal'?

p.s. Now I wish I had just paid the extra for the already printed photos as well

No need to regret not buying the printed photos. The Walgreens local to my house printed the photos just fine in our case, including the decorative photos.

I thought it was weird too. I just shifted things around to do the best I could and printed 4x6.

That's because Shutters photo ratios are 6X8 and 8X10. Trying to adjust those to a standard 5X7 or 4X6 just doesn't work.

Is there any discount to pre-purchasing the photo package before the cruise? I have 4 staterooms booked for my whole family. If I purchase the package, would I get all the pictures of my family or just the ones I’m in?

There is a discount on the full, digital photo package, not the smaller 10, 20 photo packages.

Plus, for every full price full, digital package you buy, you can buy the same package for subsequent rooms in your party at 50% off. If one room purchases pre-cruise (with discount), that's considered "full price" for this.

If only one room purchases the full package, only those photos taken with at least one person IN that room in them will be included.

Each room must have it's own package for all people's photos to be included. The only small exception to this is if there is a nuclear family (mom, dad, minor children) in 2 rooms. Only one package would be required for both rooms to be included.

Yes, 6x8 seems to be the solution. I did 10 test photos using 6x8 and 8x10 and it was a winner; no unwanted cropping of the boarder. Thank you for the great feedback!!

You purchase the full package pre-cruise (with discount). Once onboard you go to Shutters with proof of your purchase and then you can purchase an additional package for the second room at 50% off.

On the upside, with most of the borders you can crop out easily. I just printed an 8x10 of our Palo dinner and was able to crop out the border.
Also, if you aren't sure you will want the photos and have the Disney Visa you can order a package with the 10% Disney Visa discount if you have that on record for your onboard account. It's just 2 of us and I wasn't sure I'd want the photos so I did not preorder, but we did end up getting the 15 photo digital package and I got 10% off--not as good as pre-order, but close.

Yeah, it was a little bit disappointing because my daughter's autograph book has places for 4x6 by each signature page. She loved picking which pictures to print and putting them in the book. We made it work.

I saw on a you tube video that the only pics you get are ones that have people in your stateroom. If the people in the other stateroom are in the photo with you, you get the group shot but if you are not then you dont get the photo. Also I heard that there is a spot where photos that were not able to identify anyone with the facial recognition software are and that you should check them for photos of you!

I put them in photo books from Shutterfly. You can easily customize each picture to get the right ratio to keep the borders intact.
