Printing off your FP+

I'm one of those people who still hasn't gotten a smart phone yet so I'll be in the parks with just my MagicBand and FP+ sceduled. How do I know when the FP+ times are? I guess I can copy them or screen print the whole page for each day but that seems a waste.

Is there an easy way to just print off your MDE FP+ and maybe dining reservations?

I make a hard copy for myself and my clients. you never know when a phone is going to run out of battery, etc. To do this I use word and copy paste from MDE on the computer. They may never need it but if they do they have it!

Thanks, it looks like the more advanced the systems get the more we have to go back to manually keeping track of things.

I did print from MDE, but I also just wrote out a note card for each day with FP+ times, ADR confirmation numbers and times, and other notes for myself (such as parade and show times).

If you have a camera, take a picture.

you can also click start(or windows icon, bottom left on screen) and type in snipping tool and hit enter. The snipping tool opens and you can select the area on the screen that you want to save(the date and your fast pass selections and save them and then print them.

I save them in all in a folder along with scans of the back of my tickets and e-mail them to myself so I have them on my phone and if I lose my tickets AND my phone all I need is access to a computer to bring them up and print them out.

I print mine as well from home (have a spreadsheet with whatever our plans for the day are.) But last year I had to make a change to my FP+ at the concierge desk, and she offered me a printout of the new plans - yes please!. The person next to me asked if he could have one as well, and she happily gave him his too.

Yea, they used to give us a copy of all of our dining reservations when I checked in. I was hoping to hear that we would get a copy of our FP+ now.

The "Itinerary" section of MDE will have each day's FPs and ADRs in one spot.

I printed it up and taped each day onto a separate index card, then covered it with scotch tape to make it a bit stronger.

Does your non-smartphone have a calendar? Can you add events? I used to keep track of ADRs that way.

It would be nice if they had a few read-only kiosks that would spit out your FP's/ADR reservations for the day on a cash register type receipt.

But, if you forget, I think you can go up to a kiosk and view your plans. (Of course that's not much fun if the kiosks are busy)

I always make a wallet-sized printout of my entire itinerary, including park hours, ADRs (with conformation numbers), and FP+ times. I also do the cheap lamination of attaching it to a peice of cardboard and covering it with tape. Unlike a smartphone, the card can never run out of battery power.

A post-it note would solve this problem easily enough. :)

If a post it note would work everybody could write

I have a Fast Pass for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train on August 12 at 7:55 - 8:55 pm.

No, the print out from the MDE website with your names, date, and times of your FP is what you need in case there is some system glitch. At least yo then have a fighting chance of getting your FP's.

I wouldn't count on this working either. I mean, I could just go in, make a bunch of FPs and print it out, then delete those and make more. So it really doesn't prove anything to print screen that.

I take notecards of all of my plans because they fit easily into my small bag.

What I really find annoying is that Disney didn't give a print option for our plans. Almost all websites for receipts and other confirmations give some sort of Print This Page type of option where it formats the web page into a nice printable format. But Disney just assumes you'll be using a MDE app.

The Dirty Dozen didn't have index cards or apps or post-it notes. Make a model of the parks and memorize it.

Exactly. Having a print out is no different that having it written on a post it, with the added drawback of it being 10x bigger. Think about it, if screenshots were treated as FPs, anyone with a printer would be able to print unlimited FPs for the duration of their trip.

One! Down to the Magic Kingdom, we've just begun.
Two! The gates we are through!
Three! The happy tourists are on a spree!
Four! The tourist approach the ride door!
Five! Skipping the standby line is the way to survive.
Six! Using MDE is one of our tricks.
Seven! FP+ is manna from heaven.
Eight! With proper planning there is no wait.
Nine! With FP+ you skip the line.
Ten! You'll have to do standby if you want to ride again.
Eleven! I hope those poor saps in the standby line have learned there lesson.
Twelve. Time to ride that Snow White thing with the...dwarves not elves.
And where is Donald Duck? Donald Ducks down at the crossing with a machine gun.

Use a pen and a little piece of paper and write them down.

Take your point and shoot digital camera and photograph the MDE itinerary page.
