Printing DL Tickets?

The DL website has an option to print your own DL tickets. However I wonder how well they would slide through the machines like FP and the entrance if they are cut out of flimsy printer paper. Also, they wouldn't have the magnetic strip. Has anyone tried this? Right now I'm leaning towards just picking them up at AAA. It has been 2 or 3 years since we've gone, so maybe things have changed there.

I'm not totally sure, but I think you will have to exchange the print outs against the actual tickets either at the ticket booths or at guest services once you arrive at DLR.

We did this before...you just take them to the turnstyles and you trade in the printouts for actual tickets that can be used for the FP...no ticket window involved. It was really easy!

I just bought and printed tickets yesterday. It was really easy! You just purchase them online, and then print! I find it much easier than waiting for actual tickets to come in the mail or getting them at will call at the park. Just make sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 installed so you can open the email attachment emailed to you once your order goes through.

Have done this before and it was super easy. Just go through maingate/turnstyles like everyone else and after they scan your paper with printout barcode they hand you a regular ticket. No problems. No worries.

We bought ours from the Disney store at the mall. The tickets are plastic like credit cards. It was great for getting FP, and I never had to worry about them getting wet!

I've never seen ones like that for Disneyland. I forgot about the Disney store. Although we only want two day tickets, not three days. Still thinking about printing them.

I think you can ask at the Disney Store for a two day pass and they'll give you
a plastic card. I'm not absolutely sure. I always go for the plastic ones. They
make great souvenirs, they don't get wet, and when we printed ours, the
people at the front kept saying that ours looked fake. It was kind of
disheartening to keep hearing it the whole weekend.:confused3

We got 2 day passes from the Disney store and they were plastic. There weren't very big savings for 2 day at GAT or anywhere else that we found. It was $10 off for our entire family, but then you have to pay $5 shipping. So, for $5, I opted for the Disney Store hard plastic ones. So, to answer your question, yes they sell 2 day passes.

yeahh, a few of us in our family were given a hard time every time we used the printed out tickets because the actual ticket that were given to them didn't have a barcode on it. my cousin (wazowskiLOVER)'s fiance was soo pissed off!

so watch out for those !

but other than that, we didn't have any problems this trip

Good to know that side of it too. It seems anywhere you go, the price is the same for 2 day, so that part doesn't matter. Even AAA doesn't offer free parking with 2 day, just 3 day.
