Printing Delta Boarding Pass on Internet Question.

Just how much time will I save by printing my Delta boarding passes ahead of time? Don't we still have to schlep our bags to the counter, show picture IDs, answer questions etc.? What's the advantage?

If you have your boarding passes you can do curbside check-in and not even go to the counter. Saves a little time. One will still have to go through security.

We did online check-in in October because Delta offered 1000 FF miles if you did. That was well woth it to me!

Your check in time is registered as earlier so you are less likely to be bumped. You do save a little time at the counter too as the ticket agent proceeds diretly to baggage weighing, tagging, and checking.

True, on line check in or kiosk check in is more advantageous to those who do curbside baggage checking or who don't need to check baggage.
