Has anyone ever printed airline boarding passes from one of the WDW theme parks? I know that it is possible from the resorts. However, can you get it done at Guest Relations at the MK? Thanks for any experience you can offer.

Others have stated they have .I guess it would depend on how busy they are.

We just use our cellphones web service to check-in and reprint the passes at the airport.I did it for our last trip in the front car of the Mono-rail.

Yes, I've had boarding passes printed up at Guest Services at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Just make sure you have all your info with you.

This is great info as we will be wanting to check our flights and print our boarding passes. I didn't know where we would be able to do this. We will flying standby and needing to check our flights the day before. So this is good to know that we can either do it at guest relations at our resort or one of the parks. Thanks for posting this

Yes, we did this at MK. When we flew down our son's boarding pass didn't print out with the rest of us. It turns out that his name was close to someone on the no-fly list and they gave away his seat because he wasn't checked in. To make a long story short, we were in MK at the 24 hour when we could print out our passes. We wanted to see if his would print out (it didn't) and we after MK we went directly to the airport to have them print out his pass.

They were so nice at guest relations.

If you bring a laptop you can check in from your room. Then when you go to the airport you print the boarding passes. It will ask if you want to reprint the passes (even if you didn't print them out before), click that one. I've done that a couple times and never had a problem.

We got our boarding passes printed out at D-Mgm Studios in Aug. this year. We got them at Guest Services. The CM was very nice and boy were we glad we got them. We were flying South West so it was really important to get the coveted "A" passes. I was nervous when I realized we had Fantasmic Dinner pkg. ressies at the time we needed to get those passes. Dinner packages were full so we couldn't change it and we couldn't be at our resort desk at the same time either. I just took our info to the park with us that morning and checked at GS early to make sure we would be able to do it when 5:00pm rolled around. They said yes so that took a load off my mind all day.
I am so glad we were able to get those "A" passes. As it turned out there were people with "C" passes that couldn't even get on the plane!

We have also checked in via our cell phone. Then when we arrived at the counter we reprinted our boarding passes. This was SW. That was easy.

Another option, if your cell isn't web enabled, is to call someone you know with a computer & have them check you in. Then print passes at the airport. I have a friend who travels frequently & is always calling me to check her in.

DH checked in for our return flight while riding the monorail to Epcot. It was pretty cool, and (in his mind) justified the purchase of this new fancy-schmancy PDA phone. Then, when we got to the airport, we got our printed passes from the check-in desk when we checked our bags.

Having printed boarding passes does alleviate an extra step at the airport *if* you are not checking bags because you can go straight through security to the gate. But, if you have to check bags anyway, you can just get your boarding passes printed out at that time anyway.

I guess that's why I never worry about this, and why I don't get the advantage to checking in at the Resort/Parks, etc. If you've got bags, you have to talk to them anyway, so I just don't see the advantage.

Good to know they can do it if I ever somehow decide I do need it, though!

Wow! :cool1: Thanks for the info!

Do they let you use their computer? Or you just verbally give them your flight info?

Do the resorts allow you to do this at guest relations? We will be at MK on our last day, but would rather not carry around our boarding passes.

At guest relations at the MK, we gave them our confirmation # and they printed them out.

I got my Southwest boarding passes printed at Guest Services at the International gateway. The CM didn't know how to do it, but since she wasn't busy at all, she was willing to try. I just asked if she had a computer with Internet connection which she did and I just stepped her through it (so check out the airlines website before you go so that you can walk them through it if they haven't done it before). I wasn't worried about actually printing the boarding pass, since as someone else mentioned, it is easy to do while checking your bags. But I did want to get the 'A' pass, so wanted to check in. However, she had a printer and she printed them for me. Turns out the flight was so empty it really didn't matter, but you never know.

The advantage is for Southwest Airlines. If you want to be in the first boarding group, you can print your boarding passes 24 hours before departure. If you wait until you arrive at the airport you will likely be in the second or third group and have less chance of selecting your seats. Seats are not assigned for Southwest. I agree, if you already have your seating assignments, it's not that important.
