I am sure this has been asked a million times but my search feature isn't working.

Will I be able to print off boarding passes at POP??? Or at least check in online????

If not can someone recommend a place on disney property I can do this??

Thanks a ton

Kim

I stayed at POP 7/26 - 8/5/07. LOVED IT! Right after I checked out of my room, I went outside and they checked my luggage and gave us our boarding passes. Asked them if I had to get my luggge to put on the bus. They told me that I didn't have to touch my luggage until it came off the carousel at the airport in Columbus. This left us a couple hours to explore the rest of POP before leaving.

you can print your boarding passes at the CR business center (conveniently located within walking distance of the MK!!)

You can get your boarding passes printed at any check in/or concierge desk at any resort.

I always plan to get my boarding pass as close to the 24 check in hour as possible.

All of these locations have internet access.

Do you have to use ME in order to get boarding passes at POP? We are considering renting a car but already have our ME stickers, etc. Or is this a separate thing altogether? TIA!

On our last trip we flew Southwest and we checked in in our resort room...we were staying at ASMu. When we checked our luggage at MCO we just reprinted the boarding passes. Not sure if this works for all airlines though. Also you can ask at the POP concierge or front desk. They may check you in and print them for you if you can't use the resort airline check in. The check in is only for participating airlines and there aren't many.

The lobby Concierge of your resort will do it, or any guest services at the theme parks will do it as well! :thumbsup2

DME and airline checkin are separate.

As long as you're flying on one of Disney's partner airlines, you can get boarding passes and check your luggage right at the resort. Doesn't matter if you our using DME or not. Partner arlines currently include: AirTran Airways, Alaska Airline, American, Delta, Continental, Jet Blue, Northwest and United/Ted

AirTran was just recently added so I used this service last month. It was fabulous. Checked our luggage, got our boarding passes and had bell services hold our carry ons all in one stop. We happened to also be using DME this trip and our resort pick up wasn't until 3:00 at Pop Century. So we headed to the GF for breakfast and the to MK for one last ride on the train. It was sooo nice not to have to lug our bags through MCO. Just a quick wait for security and Voila!

However, if you are flying domestically on one of the non-partner airlines, you can check in online if you brought your laptop with you. Any concierge desk will be happy to print out the boarding passes but the wait can be quite long at certain times of the day.

You could also opt to use a computer at one of the many business centers on property to check in and print your boarding passes.

Same as above,

But you will need your Airline Confirmation number with you when you get your boarding passes at concierge desk....

No, they will check you in for your flight and/or print your boarding passes at the lobby concierge desk at any WDW resort, whether you use DME or not.

I don't know how other airlines work, but I know that Southwest has automated kiosks at the airport where you can print or re-print your boarding passes, so you can check in with your laptop (if you have one) at WDW, and wait to print your actual boarding passes at the airpoprt (you can also re-print your boarding passes if you lose them).

Southwest also allows you to check in from any web-enabled cell-phone, so you could actually check in for your return flight from inside the parks!

Just remember that you need your confirmation numbers to check in online in any way, whether you have the lobby concierge do it for you, or you do it yourself, or you check in from a web-enabled cell phone.

We have NEVER had any problems getting our boarding passes printed out, and for those of you who are in the parks when that magical 24 hour window opens up you can go directly to Guest Services at which ever park you are in, and they will print them out for you. We have done this so many times and have never had a problem :)
