Princesses - Sleeping Beauty in Particular

Hi. My first trip to DLP is booked for the beginning of October and I was wondering if anyone can help me out with a little Princesses query!

My DD is absolutely mad on Sleeping Beauty - she is all she ever talks about wanting to see. When you queue to meet the Princesses (somewhere around the castle I suppose) do you have to queue for each one individually or is there 1 big queue and once you get to the front you get to meet them all? The reason I'm asking is because I believe they rotate every 30 mins and if we miss seeing Sleeping Beauty then my life won't be worth living!!! I don't want to have to queue for ages then have Sleeping Beauty leave as we get towards the front.

Also when we watch the parade, is Sleeping Beauty on one particular side of the float or does she move around and it's just luck if she happens to be on your side as it passes?

Sorry if these questions sound a bit silly, but they are of the upmost importance to my DD!!! princess:

Thanks.

They aren't silly questions, I too have a princessmad daughter!
You queue for one princess only, and they do rotate, so I'm afraid there is no definite way of knowing, although you could try asking the CM. For the parade, I don't think I'm experienced enough (ie I haven't seen enough parades!) to answer that question.
There's also the princess lunch at Auberge de Cendrillon which is pricey but wonderful food and you should see 3 princesses so you'd be unlucky not to see Sleeping Beauty (although not guaranteed).

I think also there is going to be a small show in the courtyard behind the castle with sleeping beauty ,dont know if anyone has seen this yet

I believe the new show will begin on 26 April and may only be for the summer period so it may not be on in October.

As far as the parade goes, Aurora shares the final float with Cinderella and Snow White (Belle is at the front but her position is static). You'll get some cool pics. If the parade is in full mode with stops, then try to be near the bend at Small World for the beginning of the parade as they stop and they come down from the float and do a nice little dance with Aurora is part of.

We wanted to meet Aurora at the Princess meet n greet in October last year, so heres what we did.

We were near the beginning of the queue at 10am, the first princess came out at 10.15 (Cinderella). We'd already met Cinderella the day before, and we asked the CM with her who was coming next. She told us it would be Aurora. So we stayed in our place in the queue until we were just about to step through the gate which takes you onto the stage where the princesses do their meets. At that point, we stepped aside, and waited on the step just before the gate. We told the folk in the line behind us who asked, what we were waiting for, and they were all fine with it. So they went on ahead of us to meet Cinderella.

When Aurora came out, we stepped back in line with everyone else, and got a lovely pic, chat and autograph with Aurora and Prince Phillip. We did end up waiting around 50 minutes, and that can be a long time for little ones to hang around. Its certainly the longest I've waited in line for anything at DLRP!

I'm going to ask at City Hall in the mornings this coming visit, to see if they will tell me who's going to be in what rotation at the princess meet n greets. We still have Snow White, Ariel and Jasmine to get :cutie: .
