Princesses on Alaska Cruise

i was just perusing the most recent navigators posted from Alaska, and the characters are very superhero heavy. The only princess greetings at all are during the middle of a port day. One Cinderella appearance and one Ariel appearance (and maybe one belle? I don’t remember). I know I can also get tickets to the princess meet-and-greet, but is this typical for an Alaskan Cruise? Just one showing of each princess on a 7 day cruise when we won’t even be on the ship?!?! Please tell me I’m missing something or there will be two disappointed little girls.

I thought the only meet and greets with the princesses are the ticketed ones. They have those a lot during the cruise, so maybe that's why. Don't forget they also have times in the kids club when the characters come and do stuff with the kids. On our Alaskan cruise Snow White, Belle, Rapunzel, and Cinderella all came and did different things in the club. It will be in the navigator, so that gives your dds more opportunities to see them. Also Tiana will come to your table each night when you eat at her restaurant, you can get pics/autographs w/her then.

They can also meet the princesses during the Till We Meet Again gathering at the end of the cruise.

I was on the 6/18 Wonder sailing. We had tix for the princess gathering on Tracy Arm (actually Endicott Arm) day, but it was before we actually got to the glacier. And we did the Frozen m&g on Ketchikan day, but in the morning before we docked. So while I guess it might look odd that they're only on port days, there is no actual conflict with the timing. I'm pretty sure there was a princess m&g on the last sea day too? We didn't try to book that b/c some of the family went to the royal tea that day.

You'll find princesses wandering the ship now and then too. My niece and I ran into Belle by the aft elevators and had a nice chat and photos with no minders or line. That happened the last time we sailed on the Wonder too. I suspect the princesses have more chances to do that sort of thing b/c they don't need a helper to get around at all! There were also Tinkerbell m&gs. And you'll meet Tiana at dinner in Tiana's Place.

Maybe good reason for my girls to stay in thr clubs! Just disappointing bc there were a lot of princess greetings on the fantasy.
