Hey guys,
DF and I are getting married on December 4 (our anniversary) at the WP with a reception at UK lower with illuminations. I am still kinda early in the planning stages, but I think it is starting to come together a litte. I received my letter of agreement this week, and I am planning on mailing it in tommorow or Saturday. I can't wait to get my planning kit. In the meantime, I have booked Randy Chapman for photography. He is really nice, and is working with me to get daylight pics though we won't be having the ceremony till evening. I have to thank you diser's (especially Maggimus) for recommending him. I honestly didn't know you could use outside photography at Disney. I have also booked Anna from Makeover Majic for my hair and makeup. I liked her pics, and she had a few that were styles that I want for my wedding. I am trying to find an officiant right now, but not finding what I really like. I have received Jack's Pack, but I am still unsure if he is who we want. Other than that the other tangible things I have done is write a letter to my guests, along with creating an RSVP card. OK, now I think I will shut up and start putting in pics.

Here is my dress
Removed these because I have a new dress.

Here is some fabric I bought at Hobby Lobby to give examples of what my colors are (It looks kinda blue but it is really royal purple)

The rose with the bow is something I am thinking about for my table. I am either going to have one rose with candles around it for the centerpiece, or the candle centerpiece and a rose on each individual plate. What do guys think would be best?

Here are my DIY RSVP. I know it is no where near formal, but I is just going in the information letter.

That is all I have for now, but I promise to keep this updated :thumbsup2

Wow you are on the ball!!! I love your dress-- how did you know purple and neutral browns are my favorite color?

Thanks for the compliment above! Im glad you booked him. I would hate to not have known about him and glad I was pushed (the same was I push others) to book him-- had I not done so, I would have been extremely disappointed. I know you wont be that way, and luckily, neither was I.

Everything looks great-- keep it coming!:thumbsup2

It must be a Tennessee thing:cutie:

I actually have more stuff I would like to share, but now I am trying to figure out how to get pics from websites onto here.

Things we either have or have already decided on:
Cake
Unity Candle
toasting flutes (I actually had them custom made at Arribas Bros. They
are single rose on the front and our names on the back)
Cake Knife

I will put pics of them on here once I figure out how. :badpc: :lmao:

right click on the picture and click save picture as and then it saves to your computer and then you just upload it like any other photo, make sure you save it as a jpeg file

Thanks Orangetiggs. Maggimus told me the photobucket process, but for some reason I had to save than resave in order for me to upload the pics. Anywho.

Here is one idea for my hair. I actually have my ideal style but can't find the pic. This is my second pick.

This is the invitation that I really want, but I will have to wait and find out the price. It is one of the custom invitations for Disney brides only. Have any of you had this invitation or at least know how much it costs?

Finally, I thought that I would add in the pic of my dress from the website. I think it gives you a better look at my dress than my pics.
Same Reason as above. New Dress

Everything looks so beautiful-- I love that hairstyle.. and those invitations are beautiful. I hope they arent too expensive!:goodvibes

I can't help with the price of the invitations, but I just had to tell you how cute they are!

I also liked your idea of the candle centerpiece with a rose on each plate :thumbsup2

Hey guys,
I thought I would just update this a little. My DFTW contract has been signed, shiped, and the check has been cashed. :woohoo: Other news, I have pretty much completed my outfit this past weekend. I bought my necklace from Things Remembered. All I need now is a bracelet, and seeing I don't have a borrowed I am hoping that my MOH will let me borrow one from her. Also, I have gotten my cards for my Guest "Book". I am actually doing a scrapbook for that. I am sending out cards for them to fill out their favorite memory of DF and/or I or just a wedding wish. I will assemble them in a scrapbook (I really like that one from Michaels that is in the scrapbook thread.) along with a picture of them at the wedding. I am hoping to have it completed before the wedding, so everyone can read the stories/wishes. I am going to be working on adding ribbon to them this weekend.
Other than that, I have been looking at the menus and restaurants at WDW. I am trying to get an idea for where I want the rehearsal/welcome dinner. DF is adament about not have a buffet or family style service place. There goes O'Hana's. We are thinking maybe Whispering Canyon Cafe or Raglean Road. (He wants it to be at Bennigan's or the ESPN club to watch a basketball game. :sad2: )

That sounds like a great idea.

I love whispering canyon cafe-- but then again I love the WL. DH and I eat the hound out of the skillet there!! GL with your decisions!! Doesnt it feel great getting things accomplished!!:goodvibes

Your dress is Beautiful.... I love the colors.. Your wedding is going to be sooo beautiful:bride: :groom:

Well, it is time for confession here about "the Dress". I bought my dress two years ago, even before I was officially engaged. (Rule number 1 for all you out there, do not buy your wedding dress without knowing for certain what kind of wedding you are having.) When I first bought mine I really liked it. I felt kinda pressured into buying it though because of the offer for a free veil. (Rule number two: never let yourself be pushed in anyway to buy your dress.) The funny thing is I now dislike that veil. I never question the dress being the one for a long time. It wasn't until last summer, when we changed from having the big at home wedding to practically eloping, that I was rethinking my dress. I didn't feel comfortable with wearing a big formal dress for a destination wedding with only 4 witnesses. It was just too much. Well, I started looking for more of a destination wedding dress. I couldn't find anything that felt right. (I find it amusing that I would always see these gowns on display and think, "that would be beautiful for a Disney wedding".) At this time Disney was not one of the options. Well, DF and I finally sat down and started seriously planning our wedding. I kept on mentioning Disney, and he finally gave in. We started off doing an intimate/escape wedding, and once again the dress was fine. It wasn't going to be too much. Well, we quickly changed it to the custom/wishes wedding and added the MK photo shoot too. I went back to rethinking the dress. I was now at, is it the kind of dress I want to wear at Disney in front of the castle? I looked around one day and didn't find anything that wowed me. (I did promise myself that I wouldn't buy a dress just because it would fit the princess theme, but it had to really wow me.) I kinda just let the dress thing go and thought mine would be fine. After posting that Love/Hate of your dress thread and reading everyone's responses, it really got me thinking again. Last Saturday I decided to try one more time for the fairytale dress. I found a dress that has wowed me. I had to control myself from buying it right then and there. I wanted to think this one thru. Well, here is where I ask you ladies for help. First, would you change your dress under my situation; and second, which dress do you ladies like better? You can see my dress in earlier posts, and I have a link to the other dress below. Please go by the picture on the bottom left. The others are kinda pink, and mine would be just white.

I have a Mary's dress and love it! So I'm alittle partical. If you are going for a fairytale look. That one is definately it. But it's all how you want to feel and what you love.

Love, Love, LOVE the invites. They are Disney without being juvenile!! Oh how I wish that I could get them but no Disney wedding for me :(

I think your old dress is beautiful but my feeling is that if you are questioning it then it is not your dream dress. I think every woman is entitled to her dream wedding dress. If you can swing it and you love it then go for it!

Finally, I thought that I would add in the pic of my dress from the website. I think it gives you a better look at my dress than my pics.

When I saw your gown in your first pictures it didn't hit me, but in this one it did - that's the same gown my friend's (and former roommate) sister is wearing for her wedding - also in the all ivory like yours. It's gorgeous! She got really lucky and actually bought it at the same bridal boutique I got mine (mine was back in 2005). It's the floor sample and her mother will have to fix some of the bead work but it was such a bargain (she got it for $179!!) and looks beautiful! If you feel like you'll regret it later, and you can afford to change gowns, then you should consider it. I fell in love with my gown and it was totally NOT what I was going for. I wanted lace, no train, maybe long sleeves, more simple style, but I put mine on and WOW  That after trying on about 25 gowns! You have to go with your gut on this one. You don't want to look back on the happiest day of your life and think "I wish I'd worn something different." But really, your first gown is beautiful :goodvibes

I like your first gown-- but the second gown is gorgeous. Everyone has different personal taste... so our opinions really dont matter-- its all about you. My gown wasnt one of your average so I didnt ask opinions on it-- I knew it was for me;) . I hope you make the right decision for YOU and let us know how it goes.

Both gowns are beautiful, but I personally prefer the second one. But as everyone else said, it doesn't matter what any of us think -- which one do you feel most comfortable in? If you're doubting your current dress, then it's probably not "the one." Good luck!

Well after a lot of thought and time to let everything sink in, I decided to buy the second dress. I took a lady from work with me to try it on a second time. When going to the shop I already knew that I was going to get it. When I tried it on I instantly started smiling and dancing around the store like the biggest dork on the planet. For that very reason, I knew that this is THE dress for me. Now just to sell the old one.

Here is a pic of me in THE DRESS!! :goodvibes

I also got assigned my coordinator last week, Marion Stewart. She is supposed to call me this week to start everything off. I have received my planning kit too.

I also bought and received my Cake knife and server.

Finally I have found the number 1 hairstyle that I like.

I am trying to decide if I should wear a veil or not, but I am going to wait and see how my hair looks at the trial run.

congrats! :thumbsup2 that dress is really gorgeous! :) now...stop looking! roflmao...

Ok, well it has been awhile since I have last updated this. Mainly because I like sharing pictures, and haven't had enough pictures to share, in my opinion, until now. Anyways, I have started saving up stuff for my welcome bags. I am getting stuff like Hot Chocolate, Coffee, and Tea to put in the bags. I also want to get some M&M's and some Rice Crispy Treats, but am waiting on those.

I have been getting designs for wedding t-shirts and am working on getting them made. Here are a couple of them.

This past weekend I made my ring pillow.

This past weekend I asked my youngest nephew to be the ring beared, and he simply said, "ok". He has no clue what I have asked him to do. It was kinda cute how he reacted though. It was like ok, whatever.

I bought my veil too. Unfortunately I do not a have pic of it. It has beading around the edge of it. It is aslo rather wispy and thin. You can see the details of my dress, and my hair, under it rather well.

I have my planning session on June 11  . I am so excited to be going back to Orlando. I am very happy that I will be able to meet with Randy, Anna from Make over Majic, and Pastor Kirk Bane on this trip. Anna is even doing my trial run on my hair and makeup. :cool1:

Finally, here is my engagement ring.
