Princess weekend kids races questions

My son and niece are 9 and are going to do the 1 mile kids run. It says the kids races are saturday at 10.

Does anyone know how long they take, and if before the race day will they have a schedule or does everyone need to be there for 10?

Do you know how many kids participate in each race?

They are organized by age - so it really all depends on what ages enter. The ones at WDW Marathon weekend had a ton of 1-3 year olds so there were multiple waves - I think 6? So it took some time. My understanding is that everyone has to be there at 10 a.m. regardless of age group and you wait for each wave to run. It isn't like they really take that much time.

I don't know how many total kids race but last I looked, they still had available spots so I doubt they will be at 100% capacity. I don't know how many kids were in each wave...so the number is a really good question. The one thing I do know for sure is that they are so much fun and I can't wait until I can take my nephews to them! They were so fun to watch this year!!
