Got my cousin and me in for the Challenge!
We were going to do the 5K but as I got "lined up" again for it she texted that it was OK if we didn't get it, so we had a convo and decided we could let that one go. Actually pretty happy about that decision. I'm a west coaster, and sleeping is good.
That said, I'm looking forward to yoga registration.
Felt like old school rundisney to me, with no info at all.
The "experienced runner" official challenge training plan (Galloway's plan on the rundisney page) is only 18 weeks, which means it starts in October. Personally I'm starting fresh b/c I haven't moved from my couch since mid March of last year, so I melded the beginner 10K and then the experienced challenge plan together and started it last week. But if you've been training more than me (which was NONE), you could start later and probably be OK.
I'm not sure we can.
Nothing like paying $400 to solidify travel plans, is what I always say.

...I found it strange that they expected people to pay $95+ for an event with minimal details...

I feel like I usually have pretty bad luck on these things but it gave me 8 minutes, which turned out to be actually around 5. I was set to do the Star Wars weekend challenge (my first challenge ever, third half-marathon) in the before times, and I'm a little nervous about doing the Princess one just because my training during the pandemic hasn't been very consistent, but I'm going for it!

Can someone remind me how I link my race registration to my plans on MDE?

Sadly, I’m probably not registering today - I just can’t bring myself to pay $400 for 4 of us to run a 5k, given that we still have some uncertainty in our travel plans.![]()
