Princess TV at Target $49

old princess DVD player - 69.99 and they were rude about it. Said they were "definitely NOT" on sale...

well I figured I'd call my local Targets to see if I could get one of these..

they said they all of the Disney tv/dvd players were discontinued by Target and that is why they were all discounted.

Still no luck in finding one though.

I wonder why Target is discontinuing them?

My target still has some left but they are no longer on sale. You'd think if they were discontinuing them they would keep it on sale until the stock is gone and they'd also be willing to sell the display models.

I checked our target again and the princess tv has one price of $99 under the diplay and $49 under the boxed tv. the mickey dvd still $34 and the mickey tv $99. weird...... ug:

went to a nearby Target this evening.. there was one princess tv and dvd player which was on display.. none in box.. tv was 99 and dvd was full price.. nonchalantly I asked the worker if they ever sell the displays.. he said only if they are on clearance and no more coming in.. he asked me which one I was inquiring on.. I told him the princess one.. he said that they are getting more daily and they were just on sale last week for 1/2 price.. he said they werent clearancing them.. hmmm... I might run to another target tonight and see what they say

I just checked the prices again at our target and both princess TV & DVD palyer are now regular price $99.99 & $69.99 Also the Mickey TV & DVD player regular price. hmmm cant figure it out well at least i have one of each princess and one mickey dvd player. I will just wait for the mickey TV deal.

Just stopped by Target today for halloween candy. The prices are back up to the old price. Glad I bought them last week, but weird though.

can you believe, I think I was lied to at Target. The salesman said that the TV's are at regular price again because they changed a "part" on the TV! Said these were the New Batch of TV's, because the others TV's were having problems. Give me a break! They look the same, I seriously doubt this is a model change. Anyone else hear this excuse?

$49.... The electronics manager (my mistake asking him to check the price) stopped me and said they wouldn't sell it to me at that price because there was some mistake? By the time I got to the front counter, it scanned $99.

A couple days later, I decided I wanted it anyways and purchased one at $99. A security officer stopped me on my way out to check my receipt and said they had "computer problems the day before". Wanted to make sure I'd pay the full price.
