Princess Tiana's Mardi Gras Celebration

Does this still happen at DL? I was just looking at Disneyland's website and it was on there as entertainment. My kids love Princess and the Frog (just watched it for the 8th time tonight). Just wanted to check b/c it's not on the May schedule as something that happens.

We were there for spring break and it was still going. I took my daughter to it, she really wanted tiana's autograph, but she doesn't do that. She sings 3 or 4 of the songs from the movie and the last one she invites the kids up to dance with her, but my daughter was to shy.

Good to know they "modified" the show since it can't make use of the Mark Twain like it did in the winter.

We caught the tail end of the modified show as we were heading to eat at Cafe Orleans on Friday. It happens right near the French Market restaurant, not sure of the exact times but I believe they are on the daily event programs.

Doesn't she appear in New Orleans Square for autographs and pictures?

I happened to be walking by just after the end of this show in mid March, and I don't remember if I saw her signing any autographs, but she was at least posing for pictures. Although I would imagine if she has time to snap a photo, it wouldn't be that big of a deal to scribble her name in a book too.

The official DL website says, "After the show, enjoy a brief meet and greet with Princess Tiana."

I'm bumping this thread in hopes that Tiana is still around NOS during the day? We'll be there May 15-19th and my girls really want to meet/see her!

As of the first week of April, Tiana was doing her show several times daily (actually it was only 5 days a week I think) in NOS. She did not sign autographs or pose for photos after the shows, but she did come out for separate meet & greets at other times during the day. (The meet & greet times are not listed on the Times Guide but the CM at the shows will tell you, or you can ask the CM at the end of main street.)

She was performing the last week of April - this was about 1 pm or so, they said she would be back at 4 pm. No autographs or posed photos but a very cute show and she brings some little kids up on stage with her.

hmmm hopefully they will still have it this summer. We are trying to plan a short trip soon. DD would just love this.
