Princess Tiana

Princess Tiana eluded us this past weekend. My DD kept checking everyday for 4 days. The CM's say she is around Rivers of America - either by the petrified tree or over by the churro cart in front of HM. In the afternoon, she is there starting around 2:30pm. Also, we found out that she is not out on Saturday or Sunday. This past weekend being Mother's Day and the Tinker Bell 1/2 Marathon it seemed DL was so crowded that I am sure that was the reason. I am not sure if this is every weekend or not. City Hall seemed to have the most information.

We met Tiana at a character lunch at Ariel's Grotto (this was last May). It was perfect bc my DD (3yo at the time) and I had JUST watched the Princess and the Frog on the flight over a couple days before. So sweet. She was there along with Aurora (sleeping beauty), Cinderella, and Snow White.

She is my favorite princess and I/daughter look forward to meeting her. She is part of the reason we are considering a stay at POR in a Royal Room.

We did one night in a Royal Room before transferring to BLT because my kids were desperate to stay in one. They LOVED it and it provided some great interaction with Princess Tiana when we met her. If you stay in a RR, they give you/your kids a note from Tiana at check-in. When we later met her, my kids told her we had stayed in one of her royal rooms and she immediately asked "did you guys get my letter??" My kids were floored. She then talked with them about her favorite recipes that they serve at the resort. It made for a great meet.

My daughter already received some pixie dust. The lady at the front dest ended up coming to our room to drop off this! My daughter was shocked to see Tianas photo made her night!

Update! We found Tiana. She does not come out when Raining but on the positive note there was tons of pixie dust that happened and we saw Tiana walking back to exit and we ran up to her (a bunch of teens around her because it was grad night) and I said that my daughter was a huge fan and she said to follow her and she took us to right in front of the cast members only area and she allowed my 15month old to have one on one photos with her and talked to her for 10min! The CM with her was super nice and took some photos for us! It was a very special moment and it literally made me cry. I was so shocked from all of this happening that half the photos are blurry haha. The smile on my daughters face was priceless and it made our trip. My daughter saw her favorite Princess.



Princess Tiana loved that they had matching dresses and was fluffing my daughters out for the photo!
