I am considering taking my girls to the Princess Tea Party at the Grand Floridian. I just wanted to get some other opinions about this before I make the ADR to see if it is worth it. It is awfully expensive, and I just wanted to make sure it is worth the cost, because it will be the "big ticket" item for the trip, and I don't want the girls to be disappointed. Otherwise, we will look for some other experience for us. Also, do you have to pay for it when you make the ADR like you do for CRT?

Thanks!

Rebecca

It was worth it for me. My DD5 (celebrated turning 6 a few days early at the tea party) and DD7 (8 in July) had a wonderful time! DD7 lost the princess magic over the winter after I had made ADR's, this was a princess based trip with the tea party and meals at 1900 Park Fare and Akershus. DD5 was and still is princess crazy!

Even so, both girls really enjoyed it. They felt very special and I was pleased with how it all went. They still play with their dolls.

You do pay at the time of booking, it was nice to have it payed off before we got there, but it hurt at the time!

My DD was 7 when we went last year. She was also losing her admiration of the princesses at that point. Even so, we had a great time. It was very special and while I wouldn't do it again, I'm glad we had that time together.
The reast of the family went to a water park that day.
I hope you have a great time.

We booked for our trip, have already paid the nearly $480 for the 4 of us - needless to write DH is wondering why we're shelling out $500 to have tea with a princess....Hoping it will be worth it! :)
