Does anyone have any details/pictures of the doll that the girls get at the Princess Tea Party? Just curious what exactly you get for the $250 price tag.

It is the same size as an american girl doll, with blonde hair and a sleeping beuty type dress on it. The girl also gets a bracelet and a crown. It is a pricey event but we went for my daughters sixth birthday and she still talks about 4 years later.

I did this Jan '06 with my then 6 y/o daughter. Since it was such a small group it felt extra special. I know it was pricey, but IMHO worth it. My daughter was really 'into' Aroura (Sleeping Beauty) and all the characters involved were wonderful. Live piano music.. the girls got to dance/sing/make requests. The food was 'ok', finger sandwiches, fruit, and a special cake (that you got to see before it was cut up).

My DD and I went when she was 4 (almost 5) and it was wonderful!!! Very pricey but so special...such a small group...they are introduced as they enter and they sprinkled rose petals on them....very nice....I loved it!!
Also-the doll is the disney girl doll they sell at the resorts and park for around 60$ I think.

We cheaped out and did the Wonderland Tea Party for her instead (about $40). It's basically fun with Alice and the Mad Hatter.
There's stories, a food fight, little sandwiches, etc.
Mom dropped DD4 off and went to the Garden View Grand Tea while that was going on.
Afterwards Mom picked her up and went back to finishing her own tea with our DD.

Turns out, DD4 thought her tea party was just okay but really enjoyed going to Mom's "tea party" even better.
They gave her a pitcher of "tea" (chocolate milk) and some sandwiches and she even got to pick a dessert.

When I asked about going back, she is very exciting about joining Mom for her tea party again but has no desire to redo the Wonderland Tea Party.

The doll is the standard my disney doll available from most resort gift shops and shops such as tinkerbell's treasures. The doll comes in three different skin tones and retailed at $45 in November 2007. You buy it wearing a 'park outfit' the additional outfits retailed at $22, my DD bought a Cinderella, tink, ariel, belle and minnie outfit for her disney doll.

However, she could not find a Sleeping Beauty outfit at any store like the one offered at GF so presumably although the same skin tone doll was available in the stores the outfit may be only available at the tea.

I see from the picture she is not getting to use China with her tea. I would have thought for $250.00 Disney would have used special dishes. We did the Wonderland Tea Party also. It was so cute. The Mad Hatter was a trip! My DGD came out saying he needed some manners!:goodvibes

you Get the doll, a wand, a crown, a birth certificate for the doll, a rose and pictures with Rose Petal and Aurora. To me, it was worth the price. My dd6 loved it. She loved pouring "tea" from her pot into her cup. She loved the sign language song Rose Petal taught the girls. She did it the whole trip afterward. We loved it and it was $250 well spent for us.
