Hello!

I have an ADR at AKershus in September for dinner. My DD who will be 4 when we visit is a BIG fan of the princesses!

Our ADR is for 4:45 pm and I have been reading that to "make sure the princesses are there when you book your ADR."

I am concerned because this is billed as a Princess Character dining meal. Is it possible that the Princess will not be there when we are eating dinner!?

That would be very disappointing. :(

If anyone could give me feed back on their dining experiences here I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!!

We went there for dinner last year around 5pm.
Belle greeted us before we were seated. Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel and Aurora came around to our table. Wasn't sure about the food before going but it was one of the best meals we have ever had at WDW. The princesses spent a lot of time with my DD who was 3 1/2.

We were there last June and many princesses were there. Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Jasmine- and the food was wonderful!! My DD6 is a picky eater- she had the grilled chicken off the kids menu and ate every bit! Have fun. There are always princesses there, maybe just not guaranteed to have everyone there.

We ate there for dinner around that time in Sept 2007, it was really great. Belle, in her yellow ball gown was in a special room taking pics. Then after we got seated, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, and Jasmine came around to the tables. I think that Belle is usually there for dinner in the special room, and Ariel is there for breakfast, but this is all "subject to change" LOL Anyway, it is billed as a Princess character meal, they will defiantely be there, it just may be different every time. Have fun. Here is my DD with Belle on her 5th birthday.

I don't see why there wouldn't be princesses there. They are always there during all 3 meals. I'm pretty sure you just got misinformed.

I would think that they mean that there is no guarantee which princesses will be there. We were hoping for Ariel but she wasn't there when we went. We got Princess Aurora at the door, and Mulan, Snow White, Jasmine and Mary Poppins (who of course isn't a princess) in the restaurant. We will try again for Ariel next time. There are always princesses there, you just don't know who you will get.

We have been there twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner. Most of the princesses were there but they do vary. If you're looking for Cinderella though, she isn't there I don't believe. We haven't seen her there anyway. I could be wrong though. It is a great place for the kids to spend some time with the princesses. They do give them their full attention when they are at your table. We were very impressed each time.

From the thread I have read on here, there are always princesses there. I really don't get why sometimes Mary Poppins is there, I guess cause she is a "Storybook" character.
I am going in September too, and my dd is a princess Aurora FANATIC so I booked 3 reservations to be sure she sees Aurora at least at one of the meals.

We went last September and we had Belle in the front room and then we had Ariel, Jasmine, Alice who isn't a princess and Prince Ali who isn't a princess either. So, we only truly saw 3 princesses at our meal.
