We can not get our Cinderella castle time changed to fit in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique haristyle.

Do little girls have their hair done for this one too?

I am really disappointed now that I didn't think about the boutique sooner. I know it is not necessary but my DD is such a girly girl.

We did the castle one 2 years ago with no hair do and noticed that most girls did not have their hair done. It probably seems like a lot of people do it, but I really don't think that many people do. My dd wants me to do a bun in her hair this year and I will find some spray sparkle for her hair. That is good enough for us!

We did the castle last year and did not do BBB and we are going to the castle again with no BBB. You can go to the Barber shop and get the glitter done and then get face painting. I think there was only one girl with the BBB hair when we had dinner at the castle. My daughter is very girly girly girl too but I knew if we did BBB that it would be a waste because it was hot and she headed straight for the water area by Ariels grotto and that would have been the end of a 40 hairdo

I read somewhere here on the Dis that you can get hair done at the Main Street Barber Shop. They did an updo and put glitter and colored gel in girls hair for like $15.00 . We plan on stopping there first thing one morning at the MK. Hope this helps.

Lots of the little girls were all dressed up and some had come from BBB. They looked so cute. I have to say the princesses at this lunch were fabulous.

We did the Princess Storybook meal after BBB last year....some of the girls were made up and others weren't.

Are you eating at Cindy's Royal Table or the Princess Storybook Lunch at Akerhaus in EPCOT. I was a little confused by your post.

DD did BBB and we were in there for quite awhile, probably close to an hour from start to finish but we did the all inclusive package which may have taken longer.

We haven't done Cindy's for lunch, did it for dinner and it was nice, not all the girls were done up, in fact most weren't. We've done Storybook at Akerhaus for both breakfast and lunch and I would say that breakfast has more girls done up than lunch, a lot of little girls have probably given up on the dresses and gotten too itchy and hot before lunch time.

I will say that with some extra hairspray DD's fairy tale princess hair from BBB stayed up for two whole days in some pretty hefty heat and humidity. It probably would have lasted longer but I ended up washing DD's hair because she wanted to get in the pool and she wanted to have her hair down for Story Time with Belle since she was wearing her provincial Belle dress. So if you can't get in the day of maybe you can get in the day before, they put serious amounts of gel and hairspray in their hair so they do last awhile as long as your DD isn't in the pool or every fountain.

Whatever you decide your daughter will have a great time!

I don't think that you can have too much done at the main street barber, at least no more glitter.

In the Travel Channel special (Disney Splurge, I think), the girls went to BBB and then went to Akershus. Even if people haven't been the BBB to Akershus trip, I think that this may start changing soon.

As for the person who went there 2 years ago, was BBB even around then? I don't know when the DTD opened up, so I'm not sure if that factors into what you saw there. I was there last May, but I wasn't paying attention to what the little girls were wearing.

BBB wasn't in the castle, but it was in DTD 2 years ago. My DD would never sit still for the BBB anyhoo. Last year we ddn't do any princess meals, but I would say it still was only a handful of little girls walking around all done up. Just like there was only a handful of kids in custom outfits or in costumes. I think most people who go to Disney don't know about Disboards and don't do all the crazy things we do!!

When I took my then 4yr old daughter for her first visit to the world we did BBB before lunch at Cinderella's castle and noticed most girls had been to boutique prior. For second trip we went to the Akershus for lunch but skipped BBB, she wore her princess dress and I had bought glitter and lip gloss prior to trip at little girl's store (Libby Lu), she only gets the girly makeup for special ocassions and was very happy.
