Planning on doing lunch at epcot's princess storybook dining at akershus royal banquet hall with DD3 princess: and DD5princess: . Anyone been there and have any thoughts???
Thanks:flower3:

I've been twice and just LOVE it.:lovestruc

I took DD when she was 3 and again this past year when she was 4. It is just wonderful. :cloud9: The best advice I can give is, try to get the first seating at lunch. The place is empty so you get seated quickly (usually) and the princesses are out before you know it.

I thought the buffet was great, lots of salads & lunchmeat & cheeses. lots for my DD that she liked. She ordered a hot dog off the kids menu & I had the soup & salmon sandwich. VERY good. I love Scandinavian food though, so I'm used to alot of the seasonings & flavors.

Also, be warned that many of the girls are dressed like princesses. princess: Your DDs might want to bring a dress that you can pop over their heads before you go in. I always have one of my DDs princess dresses in a bag in the stroller and she wears it while we're eating. Enjoy!:goodvibes

We went last August with my 3daughters and they loved it. They were 5, 5, and 7. I thought the food was okay. My husband loved what he had (I can't remember what that was right now) We had the table in the far back of the restaurant and it was right next to the door where the princesses came out of so we were the first to see who was there which was very exciting for my girls.

My decidedly unadventurous wife liked the Pasta Akershus. I thought this may be the best character meal, food-wise, that I've been to.

I've taken my 2 daughters, 12 and 4 and they loved it, we did the dinner twice and breakfast once, we prefer dinnertime. My favorite thing is the picture you take when you first walk in before they sit you down, my first time for breakfast they had ariel in the blue gown and the last 2 times for dinner they had belle in the fancy yellow gown, last august i knew belle would be there so i dressed my little girl just like her and their picture came out so beautiful, belle got down on the floor with her dress pooled all around her and they hugged each other it looked very pretty and natural, wish i could post a picture. The dinner food is really good my little one and I enjoy the pasta and my oldest daughter loves the prime rib, your daughters will love the princesses, we had cindy, snow white, belle, sleeping beauty and one time we had mulan.

I took me DD there for her 18th birthday in November for lunch... she is a vegeterian and the chef came out and talked with her... made her a special meal..... we all loved the food and the princessess.... it was our first time at this place and we will definately go back.... great service and the food was pretty good as well
